need grow plan advice

i have just received permission from an FOAF to grow in his house, which is at no risk of being discovered since it is in the middle of nowhere.

the only issue is-rather than taking the piss and installing a full hydroponic system, i want to grow with the minimum of kit, maybe one or two lights, but only with soil potted plants.

i was thinking of growing some lowryder #2 and hindu kush, so has anyone got any thoughts on strains or my grow plan?

any advice much appreciated!

The best advice , you already gave yourself
(going with soil and pots), I think youll be alot happier that way
One light or 2 would be plenty for a personal grow...
lil soil, a light, some good beans, food...and a bit o love and theyll love ya back!

yeah that works, I grew with a partner for a real long time,
I shoulda stopped while it was still good though. lol

yeah nothing beats pots and soil,
that whole hydroponic system seems really
difficult and alot of work to it.

use one room , figure out a way to keep bad smells from leaving that one room. Lock the grow room door each time u leave.
DONT TELL ANYONE! thats how allot of people get caught up with.

NO one shuould ever get caught if you keep your ideas's to yourself.

1. try and keep the grow is a small space like a closet.
helps keep light in
easier to control temps

2. The more work you put into to grow space and its materials the better the out come. Make sure everything is safe and not free dangling.

3.When setting up the lights keep them at one hieght and move the plants as needed. (stacking books, or good side eating trays) something strong and stable.

4. Only give what the plant tells you it needs. don't go give it extra stuff thinking your making it better.

5. Check twice daily and observe any little changes. Soak it all in and learn how and why it's growing.

I'm not a professinal or anything but when it comes to your frist time keep it as simple as you can, untill you start to learn more.

P.s Don't over water like Hip say's a wet/dry cycile is best.

dont grow the lowryder, bad plant with bad pot. and it autoflowers. grow the hindu kush its a stable land race indica that is very easy to grow. KEEP it simple buddy and good luck. like ras say though, NO partner is the BEST partner.

Hey now . . . I find it easier than soil. No repotting, no bags of soil to drag around, no pots of used soil to dispose of (not that it's a problem in this case), less mess, smaller foot print (once again not that it's a problem in this case).

and greenie is right.... I think youd be sadly dissapointed with lowryder.. any of them.
the fast finishing time and autoflower can be nice... but the quality speaks volumes..mechh. jmo of course.

im with procell. i love my hydro. once you get the "routine" down it works amazingly. you might think that it sounds like a lot more work, but if you love what you are doing this much you will make any excuse to go play with them haha. im slightly stoned atm so im rambling

oh, and the resonse to the main question lol. like most said i would not go with the LR. if you are strapped for headroom go with a bushy indica and you can always top em down too. hope that helps

yeah, it works well.. but the end results is what Im going on.
never had any hydro beat meds grown in soil.
but yeah man, Ill for sure do a hydro again one day, when top quality meds arent as needed.
didnt mean I hated hydro or that its bad...jus trying to give the best results..unless its quantity and not quality one's going for. then by all means.. do up some hydro, youll definitely get more herb out of it!
not even stoned and im rambling. lol

Smoked many top hydro and many to top organic strains at the cannabis cup in Holland.

Organic was by far the top in flavor. And won all the top awards.

uhh guys> forgettin for a mintue here that hydroponics is a METHOD of growing eh? ive grown full crops of ORGANIC hydro buds, the chemicals u use or dont use makes no difference. You can grow better buds in hydro imho due to the fact that you can control EVERY aspect of the plants feeding. You can NOT do that wil soil. So hydro is NOT automatically bad and it CAN be organic.

Ahhh wish I knew, only to be said of the stock is that they came from a "reliable" source. Looks like they did. Preliminary tests makes one thinks your smoking a christmas tree. Very pine scented, but very mild scented fresh. This makes me think of an Afgan hash type plant

Still working on it, was hoping this plant would fire off a last salvo to the mother that is stuck behind but not as of yet.
