Radical Pruning in a Closet Environment

Radical Pruning in a Closet Environment
    Banzai the Bonsai

A friend on a Dannish Usenet group is allowing me to post his grow log that I found most interesting.
Radical Pruning in a Closet Environment came about due to grow area size constraints.

In the Soup sprouts from seed.

The plants were pinched at the top at the 4th set of leaves, then pinched again as many times as possible for the next 6 weeks.

    9 weeks in

I definitely have a chair pulled up to watch this.Seems alot of energy is spent putting out the sucker leaves.Still in veg right? It's going to be awesome to watch an see how the buds produce.

Mainly the reasoning is first due to the small environment it allows further light penetration into the plant canopy giving more light to the lower buds. The second reason is help avoid mold, which has been a problem in past grows when things got too dense in the small closet. Lastly, it also helps to force flower production over leaf production due to lower lumens of the 400W HPS, making the buds denser.
(It should be mentioned here as well that the lamp was moved a little everytime the ph was checked.)

    Oh yes, it's still in veg . . .
