Natural Hydroponic Fertilizer Experiment

I have been researching into growing 420 in a symbiosis with available materials from nature without having to purchase anything, from seed to harvest, hydroponically and indoors. (Minus hydro pumps etc.)

So far I have found alternatives for things such as rock wool, I've rolled my own clay balls etc..

A stumbling block seems to be the hydroponic fertilizer.

I've tried to determine what I could find naturally,
such as, seaweed finely ground for iodine and some nitrogen content
and uhh.. well I dunno thats what I need help on.

But you get the point. I think its possible to make a fertilizer soup as you will and perhaps grow hydro without having to purchase some "Brand name" hydro fertilizer.

Any pointers?

hmm this kinda goes with what i was wondering in a way, the left over water that comes out when you water you plants in soil is a tea to pee color and this has to hold some nutes. I was wondering if that could work for ya, my question is can the water be reused for watering in soil see how.

other things you could make a tea out of compost , bat guanno and worm castinsg?

Thumbs up

That was actually an idea of mine, boil up some water with tons of dirt/compost, filter out the solids, and use the liquid (maybe concentrate it a bit) and use that for fertilizer. There should be N/P/K in the liquid, dontcha think?

I'm looking for input. I am not in a position to try it any time soon, but maybe someone with some experience can chime in.
