getting thc off of vaporizer bags?

anyone have any tricks for making hash from vaporizer bags that are too sticky to use anymore? could you just cut them into strips and soak in warm cooking oil?

that doesnt sound very pleasant.
Not to mention you are not going to
get much from scraping your vape bags.

My advice... dont let your bags get that dirty.
Keep that shit fresh, taste is half the vape experience

I clean my V-tower bags, elbows, tubes, mouthpieces with a little 91% alcohol and Q-tips( get the all natural ones from a healthfood store if possible), then I tear the ends off of the Q-tips and throw the THC soaked cotton under a cool fan or hair dryer for about 30 mins. Once I can't smell alcohol anymore I throw the little dirty orange swab ends into the Vape at 215-220 C and that shit hits you like a ton of bricks. One small bowl fries me and my buddies a couple times.

Sounds crackheadinsh I know, but I have made a lot of hash and hash oil so it only seemed practical to me.

That woulda been my idea, a little iso to rinse the bag and let it evap, then scrape it up and smoke it, probably..

that is a much better idea. i have a v-tower too, i was not aware that you could use alcohol on the tubes, hence my question about the cooking oil. recycling the residue is a little crackheadish but when you think about what a vaporizer does, the residue on the bag, glass pieces, etc is probably mostly pure thc and a shame to just throw away, no?

Agreed.... Also if you take the little bowl shaped elbow screens when they get all clogged and nasty around the sides just throw them in the bowl and take rips off the screen until they are clean and your mind will be incinerated. I smoke or re-vape(at higher temps) all my vape resin. It is nothing to kid about.....strong shit. If the tubes on your vtower get fucked after a while you can replace them at home depot.....it's just tubing with the ends heated up and fitted to the glass pieces. Happy vaping

The whole point of vaping or using a nice glass piece is not have to mess with smoking the crappy oily residue byproduct which just gets you confused and stupid.

The thing is with the vapor resin, I've read it's nearly 80-90% THC, since it's not burnt, just vaporized. Only the actives are released, no chemicals from combustion, so vapor bag resin is all goodies that settled onto the surface of the inside of the bag.

I agree w/ whatchamacallit.
Vaporizer residue is like interest on a savings account.
I don't use as bag, I have a Vapir and I use the flavor whip ( plastic tube ) attachment instead and it works O.K. Just a bit of a pain if you are in a hurry to get stoned, too time consuming. But that nice red oil that collects inside the thing is great!
I don't know if you can use ISO on those bags, but I take the pieces out of my Vapir and soak them in ISO and there is usually enough there to make it well worth my while. It's all from the vapor you would be inhaling except it condensed b/4 getting to your lungs.

I tried this on some previously unuseable hash oil and ended up eating it as i wasn't fond of the flavor of q-tip in my vape. I ate 4 tips and 10.6 grams of kratom and i have gotten more work done in the past 6 hours than i have in the past 6 days. thanks friend big ups
