![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Interesting bagseed
FOAF has been growing this bagseed for a couple months. He's done some outdoor grows in the past but this is his first indoor. Its been in flower for about 3 weeks under 400watt hps and have been doing great with regular watering and occasional nute feeding. He had to chop 2 males and 1 hermie...which left 3 females. The one that stands out in particular is this short bushy plant. It seems to have some decent genetics. It hasn't been topped, just trimmed. A few clones were taken from it. The other 2 have been topped and are some scragly looking sativas. He said they kept getting so tall they were almost hitting the light! There is actually some good seeds coming to him soon from a reputable seed bank. So FOAF just wanted to share some pics of this lovely looking girl. (sorry if the yellow light is blinding- he said he only had a camera for limited time)

Alot of the ones he did outdoors turned into huge trees, unfortunately it wasn't sensimilla or anything but grew pretty vigorously. Total time from seedlings in ground to harvest was around 3-4 months, but I think that will vary on your climate. FOAF can't wait to get some real seeds...the bagseeds grow really slow. |

These are starting to fatten up now The short bushy one is looking good with a nice big cola (last 2 pics) and the scragly one from before that was topped has now blown up (2nd and 3rd pic) The third plant is still pretty gangly and FOAF didn't get a pic of it.

Well I've been away from the site for a while due to some summer hiatus but thought I'd share the harvest of this from back in july. Didn't get a dry weight of it but was enough head bag. Was cured really well and smoke was good, one of the plants actually had a slight grape smell... but due to the random genetics, the potency was sub-par. FOAF now has some Mazar-I-Sharif and Ice 2 weeks in veg and are really blowing up in comparison (will get some pics up soon hopefully of big fat indica leafs of the Mazar). FOAF is currently working on some exahust and intake fans for the grow room since there really isn't much except for a oscillating fan. He said he will probably be using a bathroom fart fan with dryer ducting but if a inline fan is cheaper may go that route. It's still a work in progress and the bagseed was a good learning experience for FOAF to jump into better genetics. ![]() Peace |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yep you caught that. Indeed it was picked early, had to make room for the new Ice and Mazar plants. There is several plants in veg now but sex hasn't been determined yet on some of them so will prob be yanking some. I've heard different things but ideally how many plants should flower under a 400 watt without losing any light? I was thinking no more than 6, anymore than that the buds may be small.
