Aeroflo 90 Site Perpetual Medical Marijuana Grow

Background......

3 separate DIY 30 site aerflo systems. 10 sites per channel. 30 sites total per system. All 3 systems are housed in a 9'x9'x7' growlab.

1 600 watt digital lumitek ballast per system.

Nutes are advanced nutrients sensi grow, along with a few other additives.

All plants are in veg. Strains in first pic are all of a 14 different varieties, two of each. Second pic is all hindu skink. Third system has yet to be decided.

This perpetual grow spans 9 weeks with each system finishing about every 3 weeks. At least thats the goal.

Nice!! I look forward to seeing some beautiful Buddage!! Is a 600watt/30 site aeroflo enuf?? It almost looks like you'd need 2 per system...

i just use the 600's for veg. saves money on electricity.
once into flower, four 1000's will light the space.

Hi Boots,
I do hydro but never aeroponics, so I'd like to follow along with your grow. Most impressive so far.

So this is a legal medical grow? For how many patients...or is it for a dispensary? Hope those sorts of questions aren't inappropriate. I'm quite envious of all the folks who can grow legally. I'm unfortunately still in the dark ages having to hide everything.

i use the same sprayers for the aero cloner, which are sprayer nozzles.

as far a psi goes not to sure. i use eco plus brand pumps at 1056 gph per system.

each channel is 6' long.

Yes this is a totally legal medical grow. Medical marijuana patient permits/recomendations as well as caregiver rights are all posted and accounted for. This specific grow is for a number of different patients that dont have the means nor space to grow their own medicine.

As far as legal growing goes california is the way to go. Leaders in the forefront movement. I love this state.

How was my system built/ what parts were used??

I have had plenty of legit factory aeroflo systems but decided to build my own. In part to save money and two a better design.

Update:

Finally got the other 30 site filled; Blueberry and Skunk #1. Everything is looking well.

Other than the fact I burned the shit out of my plants with my sulphur burner. Live and learn........ALWAYS double check your timers.

SWIM would be interested in all the details, including more detail about the setup and how it was built and runs. What types of pumps are needed, what kind of feeding schedule you use, with additives, etc. SWIM has never grown actual hydro, other than hand watering soilless medium, but has been leaning more towards organics lately.

SWIM is still interested in learning a lot more about the various hydro methods. General Hydroponics is supposedly releasing a new organic vegan nute line, that can be used in hydro or soil, and SWIM might have the opportunity to run some ebb and flow tables, so he is interested in good feeding regimens for various hydro setups.

Advanced Nutrients seem to be a great formulation of products, but the price seems outrageous for average growers to afford, so we'd be interested to hear about any other nutrient lines you may have used in the past and how they stand up to AN, if you have the experience. Seems this isn't your first rodeo, so we'd love to hear what you think.

VERY nice man! any troubles that you encountered with the hundu skunks? ive grown them in coco before but this is my first time runnin them straight hydro in flood tables. what was your highest ppms?

Not too much trouble other than a lil powdery mildew (took care of with sulphur burner and SM-90. As well as these things strech tall, so do be careful of that.

As far as ppms go I've had them as high as 1900 ppm without any nute burn. Although, these are ran in an aeroflo system, doubtful I would try that in coco or the flood tables.

Thanks for the tip on the pics. I have tried to catch em before lights on, but can't seem to wake up early enough.

yeah i had the powdery mildew as well. Thats the only problem ive ever had with em, i scrog so the stretch really doesnt bother me. they also do well topped. again, A+ quality on those nuggets!
how high did your humidity get when you got the mildew problem? Is it possible that the plants had it the whole time but just showed signs during flowering? Im going to treat with neem oil before flowering just in case of mildew or mites.

Didn't really have to do with the humidity. Damn PM came with the cuttings. I should have quarantined em first, but was in a rush and being lazy. Humidity from the get go has pretty much has been a steady 50% due to the ac I use to cool the room.

I have always heard people say aero can be tough. But I beg to differ; I think things are a lot easier to keep in check. One must definately know the ins and outs of gardening tho. As plants aren't too forgiving if you make a mistake in an aero system.
