brownies?

Don't know if this is the right place to post this thread so if not please move it.

I made butter last night for a batch of browines. I made my butter with 2oz of leave clippings from my harvested plant and over 2oz of bag stems mixed with pot. I used 2lbs of butter and simmered over 6hrs with water then set in the fridge to let the butter harden.

My question is, I made a batch of brownies that called for 1 stick of butter (1/4 lb). How big should I make the brownies to have a good time?

Giving us a hint as to how strong your bud is would be a great help in factoring the overall potency. But... that sounds like quite a bit of butter there. You could easily make several batches from that. i would pour the batter in an 8x9x1 baking dish or pan and then cut it into 9 pieces. Then just eat like 1 or 2 and wait and see how that feels. If its not enough then either do a higher concentration of bud/butter ratio or make larger slices. either way i'm sure you'll manage to get stoned!

well, it is simple math.

so per 1/2 of butter, or whatever the recipe calls for,
you need between a half gram to a gram per serving.

So if you want to cut 10 brownies out of a 9x13 or whatever.

Add 5-10 grams to however much butter the recipe calls for.

Voila.

Make up your brownies and test a dose on an empty stomach.

Give it at least an hour before you judge the high - it will keep intensifying.

Best to sneak up on an edible dose. Eating too much dope is a very unpleasant buzz, kind of like way too much booze.

SWIM can't get too high, but sometimes when he makes the super potent oil and it's used for food, his family sometimes gets ringing ears that lasts all day. They say it's too strong, but SWIM never minds being knocked out for a few hours..

Well when you first gave me the amount of butter you used I thought it mught be a little weak, but I ran ShroomGuerilla's numbers for you.
You put in 2 zips and some stems/stuff so lets say
2.25oz
that breaks down to
31.5g / 1 # : bud to butter
So for a batch of brownies that take 2 sticks of butter or 1/2#
you have 15.75g

cut that into 10 brownies and thats 1.5 + grams per

I very much agree with BuckarooBanzai though. Eat 1 wait at least 2hrs without smoking and judge for yer self.
Every batch SWIM has ever made is always a lil' different.
Have had many a batch where 2 would be uncomfortable for most people.

Story time:

I made some chocolate chip cookies with some cannabutter once. I gave 1 cookie to my friend and I ate 2 (I have a MUCH higher tolerance than he does). we waited an hour and I started to feel something but not too much, he didn't feel anything yet he said. He ate another half then waited only 10 minutes before he ate the other half, bad idea. The first cookie started to hit him 20 minutes later. He was fine for awhile, then he started having some anxiety, a little after that he started having extreme anxiety attacks. Not pretty. I shit you not he was having random anxiety attacks for two days then called and woke me up the next morning to tell me that he was still high. He was high for 3 freaking days.

can anyone tell me how to cook it so you strain out the texture after transfering the thc to the oil or butter? I mean how do you know for sure its been transferred to the oil/ butter so you can throw out the green? Id love to make some but I feel like I might transfer some of it over and waste the green unless i also smoke it of course which I might, but I digress... does anyone know how does one surely get the thc transferred over to the oil/ butter and can safely throw out the weed?

well i don’t smoke it no more. due to not wanting to be scammed by arsholes all the time and because i was getting a bit lazy, but once i pass my topia ganja schooling on outdoor herb growing i will most definitely want to learn to cook my bush.
