Theo - lol those are pics from the good ol days Yeah the tips got a lil crissp. I reckon my fungal problems prolly stemmed from over-nit/ overfert in general..throws off the lil micro-herd, makes em pissed. I'm quite a fan of the SCROG method though, lst is dope, but I've just seen too good of results w/ the net to let it go. Plus if they start putting on mad weight (which I doubt w/ this strain) it's nice to beable to just secure em to the netting. I guess I just have fundamental differences w/ the FIM technique. Never did like the idea of topping. Not saying it doesn't work, but I feel there are better ways to accomplish the same goals. And in some situations it's certainly a good idea, just not something I'll be invoking. The old pic you were going off of didn't look like much of a scrog job yet though. They'd just hit the net then. You can see how it's spreading out now..if it'd just hold onto it's damn leaves ;D I've since gotten what I believe to be a few fungal infections. Treated w/ a sulfur containing product to no avail...which I really didn't wanna do but thats what the growshop guy recc'd. Since I've tried a product called actinovate, which seems to be doing the trick...only applied it the day before last.. Basically it's a streptycoc strain that predates on my not friends. I've lost a good chunk of fan leaves to the battle, and in the end I might just end up trashing the whole lot, going bleach crazy and starting fresh. Tis the season I guess. Fall's always a bitch. We'll see though, like I said they're responding positively to the actinovate..so time shall tell. I'll toss up a pic so you can see what I mean. PLUS me and the plants have like an Elliot/E.T thing going on...they get sick, so do I. Sucks.

Heres the piccy's. Thanks for the kind words Copelandia ![]() It's kinda sad to see em in all the glory of the past compared to now lol I've prolly chopped @ least half the fan leaves. It'd be such a monster by now if it weren't for the lil bump in the road. I reckon it's gonna be really overgrown in there too...but I really hate to switch to 12/12 before I straighten the infection out. I'm hoping it'll be cleaned out sometime this week though, and the second she starts looking descent again it's straight to 12/12. I've got a few descent little mommies established. A couple are from the outdoor sat's, one is another Joey female. Have a couple clones from this girl in the back aswell. So yea Things are still going descent in the ol' drobie-doo, and haven't lost em yet. The one mommie's really hungry, but I forgot to feed her last watering so she'll just have to wait til next time round ![]() Cheers topia, stay tuned pallies

Here's some pictures of current drobe status. Battling the infection, hopefully I'll win. Decided to switch to the CFL fixture (no sense in waistin energy on sickly plants...they're hardly using all that light anywho) Guess I'll beable to keep the extraction down now ![]() So here's a few pics of the plants @ current status. The percieved fungal infection (who really knows @ this point) seems to be slowing...could just be me wishing hard though. She's been trimmed back SO much over the past few weeks.

K so the girls are getting tossed out tonight or tomorrow. So I'll prolly start out a new diary. They're too far gone, which is quite a bummer but whatever. I've still got 5 of these seeds to give a shot...if they don't work I'll go back to the Northern Lights I used to grow, which is just fine by me. My buddy still has the genetics, so it's no biggie if these next 5 dont turn out either. It's possible that those lil lanky fuckers I brought inside were the carriers of whatever the hell got these ones. Also could just be fall and whatnot, who knows. The more I think about it the more plausible it seems.. The lanky fuckers from outside had no lower growth...it'd all fallen off or been eaten or something. They were basically one tall stem w/ only top-most growth. Mirrors what's going on here pretty well, if I didn't pull em that's exactly where these'd be in a few weeks. Just a buncha tops. Lesson learnt. So I guess this is the end of the drobes first run. Peace!

So i'm stubborn and still haven't chopped em down. I built a shelf w/ a slideout. Pretty fucking nifty if you ask me. Now waterin's a breeze! Just slide the bisches out put a bucket below and voila. Should make for much easier training aswell, as I can get at em from 3 sides now. Had to hire a handyman to cut the holes..no tools ![]() Turns out he'd been unemployed for the past 8 or so months, so money to a good cause Anyways I'm being bullheaded about tossing em out. Riding it out to the bitter end I am. Bought a humidifier today...nice little ultrasonic. The RH in the drobe's been between 20-30% which is pretty low. I've read that w/ that low RH comes very often P and K deff's...amongst other things. Maybe that's why my plants are so dry?? Dunno. Also watered w/ a few ml/L of potash.. Yep. Anyways I'm pretty pumped about the slideout. I doubt the plants are gonna get any better, but until they're completely completely gone I just won't toss em out. I'm stupid, I know. ![]() Seems like my camera is taking worse and worse pictures every day! WTF

Pretty cool shelf, will it hold all those plants after they have been watered? I know it sucks to give them the axe, but keeping that fungus around is going to make a higher risk of contaminating your future grows. Each time you open that cab spores probably go everywhere. Each one of those spores has the potential to ruin every single attempt that you make at growing in the future.

Yeah it holds megaweight. The slideouts are rated @ 100lbs a piece. I may reinforce the boards they're held on by though...as basically it's 8 screws holding the weight (thru the boards into the sidewalls) I'll add little ten or 12 inch 1x1"'s in each corner aswell to support the screen when the time comes ![]()

Holy shit, they're getting better!!! The leaves are no longer all dry feeling (of course the scorched dead shit still is, but that's going byebye) The stems are coming back to a nice green color. The two mother plants have 0 nasty on them... Couple o' clones are doing getting better. HOLYFUCKINGSHIT, I'm amazed. I guess I'm thinking it's been a humidity issue...I've now got it between 50-60% RH in the drobe...where it was 20-30%. YAY. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hopefully I can train the one girl enough to get her to cover most of the area It'll be tougher tho since she's off to one side (the holes in the shelf)The nasty shit has completely stopped it's course. Just gotta get rid of whats left and wooohoo WOOOOT
