Keep the miniblinds on the windows and then plastic behind them, no one will ever know

One word, carbon air filter, ok three words

Never shit where you sleep, dont deal from home, or at all if possible

Growing in attics is a waste of money imo, you'd be better off with a basement or closet or spare bedroom

My neighbor needs to be more discrete. Outside his door he has bags of hydroton, reservoirs, stacks of pots, and empty containers of GH. Hmm... wonder if he grows orchids.

I havent seen many of thoses signs....but I have seen a few places in the city with newspaper on the windows....few months later the apartments' where for rent, and never seen a story of a bust in the paper......makes you wonder, and a great reminder to be extra careful.

A better way to get stuff in and out of a house is in sterilite tubs. Get the colored ones and nobody can see in them. Bring whatever you want in and out of the house in the tubs. Better if you have a garage and can just load stuff in the vehicle in the garage, but some don't have that luxury.

BGB is right on the money with those tricks. Another trick for the window is simply have a curtain behind the glass and then black plastic behind that. From the outside all they see is the curtain. Just make sure the curtain covers the entire area so they don't see the plastic in the corners or someplace.

Carbon filters are fine but costly. Ozone generators can be bought or even make then yourself out of old neon sign transformers and some parts if you are handy with things. Have the air in the room go through your ozone generator and then into the attic.

Never never leave grow supplies sitting around outside. Bringing stuff in in big boxes or plastic tubs is a good tip. Watch your electric usage. Usually, 2 or $300 a month will not attract any attention at all. In some areas depending on how many rooms the houses have, you can go up to $400 a month and it's fine. Try not to go over that and don't overload the wiring in the rooms. Use extention cords from other rooms or wire another circuit into the grow rooms.
