It's pints of rye grain inoculated with liquid culture, shaken and spawned to manure, then placed in an invitro bag, it's on day 1 of spawn run. I simply place straw/hpoo in bowl and mix in pint of spawn, that simple.

No need to apologize, I've been looking at bags more myself so just naturally inquisitive ![]() that is a nice and simple technique. Looking forward to more!

ok sorry for the delay on this one, i don't know if you can tell, but i have several projects going at one time. Mostly palenque strain, (mex-pal) just trying different substrates, This strain is the most potent i've dealt with in a long time, bar f+, this is the hpoo/wheat straw i got from a buddy that's a vendor online for all kinds of supplies, his poop is the poop.. this is 24 hours after spawn! day 1 and almost 30% colonized or better! so, it's rye grains, 1 pints, spawned to 2 lbs of hpoo/straw. GO PALENQUE GO!!!! oh, and i had to do a LC 2 LC transfer of palenque, it will splendid, this is a very very aggressive rhizomorphic strain, i suggest it for it's potency, it's smaller fruits and less weight per fruit is made up in the sheeeer numbers! once i find it's prefered substrate i'll be sticking with it, so far, it's looking like the 50/50 hpoo/straw is fastest, but i have compost out to fruit, now it's just up to flush/potency to decide, it's a toss up between the two really. so |

the pals did fabulous on just coir/verm, in a bag, if you forum search "Invitro Palenque on coir" you'll see that log, I was starting to get ReALLY dissappointed in them, due to the size, etc.. but i was proven wrong, and they are now my fave strain! I actually have several growlogs going of palenque right now palenque on wormcastings/coir/verm palenque on compost palenque on hpoo/straw palenque on ... something else, oh yeah coir I am trying to find the best substrate for them, as they are actually in my opinion, more potent then penis envy, with a much better visual pattern.. They fruit fast, and flush major amounts of pins. I love palenque! I'll be keeping you updated, as day 2 of spawn run, looks incredible! i am ordering several lbs of mycrotopias ozark mntn donkey doo/straw pre pasteurized this weekend, I want to try some of hippies stuff, since i spend so much already. That will be my next purchase, and grow, I will be doing amazonian and palenque on it. TAKE CARE!@

true, and i need to do this, but i only have so much agar, and so many plastic petri. Enough for 20 plates, and i would really like to get either penis envy, or albino penis envy on those. However, it appears that Palenque is my bread and butter! so maybe i should devote it them. i will be doing a HUGE print give away on palenque possibly don't see why not, haha can i donate prints to topia in place of paying 25 dollars to chat????

hahah thanks! thankfully this end of the house is rarely used, just by me. I discovered my stock palenque LC was cloudy today, I think i grabbed a bad syringe when I aired it up. I think, not sure i did. Thankfully I have a few 60cc syringes full of the same myc pre airing it up, so i'll be making an LC 2 LC transfer tomorrow. It's a shame i messed this one up. My amazonian LC is doing wonderfully, very very vigorous myc. i am done spawning for now anyway though, i think i have enough projects going down right now. But i do not want to loose these paleque genetics, this is where i need new vacutainers, as i didn't get any, and the ones I have are well used. I could afford to pour about ten slants, to store some palenque myc. I have a lot I NEED to do, just can't find time, or when I do have time I get intimidated and don't have the confidence to do it. Most of all, I still haven't gotten the few things I need to rebuild a glovebox.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | THANKS! another sub update, i never had results like this with coir, coir works, but only a superior mix of horse manure and wheat straw can give you results like this, apparently I am working with some superb genetics also. I bring you this update from the iBook in the image, can't believe this thing works! running OS X on it, so funny! it's only 333mhz g3 with 128mb ram. fun to use though, weighs like 8lbs i think. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks, I apologize we've kinda dropped off, we'll be updating all of the threads in a day or two, things have just been really really busy and have had no time to be online, we've got 2 dro hash threads, and all of these threads to update, it's going to take time as we've got to get all the pictures organized and everything typed out! We'll be updating everything to "back on track" here real soon, spoiler: 50/50manure/wheat straw wins the race! Does bigger sub really mean better shrooms? YES!!! anyhow, more to come! |
