Got in another big batch of substrate to use. Wikid and I went straight to work shortly after delivery. My buddy that does these up for me just got a new shredder, and it really made the products quality soar even higher on the charts. The mix is fluffy and nice. I put away 5 of the bags to do the actual work, took of all the bands and lifted the seal on the lids, As I was fluffing up substrate, wikid was crumbling a full pint into my stainless bowl of poopies, then i thoroughly tossed the mix, then placed into the bottom of the bag, then she rolled em up and paper clipped them, and put the name/date. ended up using 30lbs of substrate and 28 pints of grain. very easy process. |

essentially this is all just open the bag and mix, I prepared my own rye grains however, but that's about it. the pictures show the process basically. got 28 bags so about just over a pound of substrate per bag and 1 pint of spawn. |

The large half gallon jar up there, is a master grain jar for grain to grain that Wikid set up.. This is the myc i'm working with: ![]() nice and rhizo you think? ![]() i'm thinking this grow is going to be interesting, very nice myc, very nice substrate, very hefty bags, Amazonians are known for their size. Plus wikid's thumb is bluer then mine now i think. ![]() and this myc looks crazy sick. |

OK sorry for the delay in posting, they've been sat out today, got em all sat at once. They all look about like these pictures if not better. It took 4 days to be 100% colonized (to the eye), but i let them stay in closet until they started to shrink some, but here they are: ![]() ![]() so these r pretty freekin wicked crazy rhizo, just like the master grain jar was.. so maybe i can continue this trend. NOW, lets see how they fruit! 28 bags sat out today. |

standard polyfil lid drill one 1/4" or better hole in the center, take a nail and put a hole for injection if using LC, I don't put a hole for my grain to grain jars however. LIGHTLY twist polyfil into the center hole the 1/4" or better hole. and wallah, grain jar. ![]() the tape is 3m micropore tape to cover the inoculation holes with, all the exchange of gases happens through the poylfil filtered hole in the center. |

Did you apply a fan to that space? Ol' fahtster would keep one going 24/7 if it really is a Co2 problem, that should clear it up and you could keep using bags ------------ with one pound of sub and one pint..i wouldnt expect a huge flush pint cakes get about a quarter.. and id say double that from the poo PLUS the fact that there were 28 bags? should still be a big haul
