Optimal Stealth Invitro, Under Desk 2 Revisions and a Big Texan Invitro Clone

Texan Clone liquid innoculant from a Texas spore syringe from TGS:

2ccs per. 9 days after innoc. This is located under a desk, with a total of around 17.5"x13.5"x4" space. The lights are cold cathodes are were manually tuned on and off with a switch, with random time intervals. The verm barrier has not yet been removed in this pic. It has been said that good practice is to give invitro light from day one.

Those produced these, these are some mixes of the 1st and 2nd flushes. The way the conditions were set led to pinning at different times. The brf mix was made smaller with a larger than usual verm barrier. The cakes were dunked between flushes, many times in distilled water. Removal was aided by the use of two small wood nail pullers.

Most of the cakes produced a weak first flush. They were dunked for 8 hrs. An inflation needle for balls and such on the end of an air hose. This hose was connected to an aquarium air pump. The needle was cleaned with iso. alcohol before feeding it through the innoc. holes. The output of air was calculated to exchange the air of the jar fully within 10 seconds. They were aired when convenient. After the dunk and the air exchange process they took off.

This one formed, it was destined to be cloned:

5 months later, stored at room temperature (76F) the clone produced 2 of these, and 2 more LCs. A week or two later the new LCs produced 4 more cakes.

They were placed in the 2nd revision of the same setup. 20 LEDS in total, one white, one blue (460-465nm) sanded flat to dissipate the light output. The cold cathodes produced much more heat in the cramped space. Maybe that's why Texas rocks this environment.

The airpump is connected to a 5-way gang valve, each line going to a t-valve which connects 2 jars each. There is an 1/8" hole drilled in the lid on the same side of the airtube which is hot-glued to the lid. The airpump is placed in a gladware container filled with polyfil. It keeps the noise down and filters the air somewhat.

The lights are hooked to a timer on 12/12. The airpump turns on for 2 minutes 5 times a day on a digital timer.

Within one month of innoculation, the clones are already producing. The cakes were dunked in spring water for 6 hours after birth.

100% success with no contamination. The lack of ambient humidity cold be a possible factor, it is usually around 21 in the winter to 35-45 tops.

The first setup yielded almost a 1/4lb. over multiple flushes, the cakes were thrown away before they were completely spent.

Impressive. Shrooms are starting to get all high tech like weed

I'll stick with my rubbermaid towers tho, no need to be stealthy here
Fanning builds muscle.... and character

But that setup sure does look like fun, good luck working out the humidity hope you get it up to at least a half LB and may the sky be the limit

the wood cabinet is your rH problem, wood absorbs water. No ambient rH% in that.

It was around a 1/4lb dry over the flushes, just to clear that up. I've done tubs before, and this was just a combination of my knowledge. It's definitely more of a PITA to do it this way, however it does maximize the small space being worked with.

The rH is fine for what is being done, within the multiple FCs. The trick to find just the right amount of FAE. Contamination has not been a problem for a long time, the spore load in the room is probably reduced due to low humidity.
