cooling liquid cultures refill kits water fast

place the hot jar in a pan of cool water-
water can hold more heat than air can
so the lc cools quickly.
replace water as it warms with more cold.
you can go from pc to lc in an hour, cool enough for spores.
running water from a tap is even better,
put pan in sink and let water run over to drain.

FOAF asks , Hip what about when the cooker is done blowing steam, can you put the whole cooker in cooler water? With his LC lids upside down with foil on.... is it safe to cool the jars outside the cooker done in that way?

Absolutely not. There's a chance your PC will crack or something worse...

btw only do this fast cool
if using canning jars-
they are tempered glass and can take it.
but don't try it with used pickle jars, drinking glasses, etc.

FOAF has been putting them upside down as not to seal then flipping them over in a sealed glovebox.... he dosent used an airport but wants too.... all he uses is canning types for LC .... can you PC the LC with the lids right way up if no polyfill or Airport is used.... that would help him alot....
