Hi guys, thought I share my first grow with you guys...
its my growlog so let me know what you think.

Hey its my first time, so dont expect bulk grow ok,, its still the normal verm and brf cake method so bare with me..

. looks really good for your first, you have some healthy looking fruits so keep up the good work. a couple of questions though, what strain, multi spore or culture?

thanx copelandiaKidd, yeah, I never knew its gana flush like that for a first time.. I'm sure glad that it did tho, lOl! and its quite potent too, although from what I've read it said to be moderate in potency but wow, I think moderate for me is quite potent!

Amazons can be a nice trip, and they are easy to grow. You take some nice pictures, and doesn't it feel good to have your own stash?

, but really now, I do enjoy watching em grow, its so not like anything you can compare em to. Must get my camcorder running so that I can prepare a timelapse for the different shrooms I'ma grow.

cakes = cambo's

little experimental casing = amazons

small fruiting chamber packed crazy with cakes = amazons (waiting on 2nd flush)

let's see how they gana turn out..

hahaha, yeah that cake is huge, but its not really a cake although it looks close to one hehehe, but its made with potting soil as a substrate.. was just testing substrates at the time and verm for casing, I know its not the best to use and should rather be used as a casing instead but hell, I just gave it a shot anyway.
lets see what happens with that.

really.. sometimes I wonder what u guys experience with mushrooms? and is it more as a recreational drug or do you get/wana find that mystical experience.

lol, yeah I cant wait for those letters below my avatar that says "newbie" to change! but in time I guess.. figure things like this on my own? well lol no dude!! I had to do alot of reading on what others say, (dont know if that counts as your own tho). but I enjoy it like crazy to grow these fungi! I think it becomes a talent if you can grow em beautifully with all the bacteria out there to kill it!

So this is what happened with that idiot casing,

the mushies just pinned from the sides, that was it from that huge thing.

Don't know what went wrong.. Gana have to troubleshoot.
Have a look..

So my next best thing I thought to do was to make em spore prints:

meanwhile... I'm gana have to wait for these babies to fruit.

I thought I should put some updated pics.. I can't help posting pictures up so often, I just get so excited when I see a little change!
I should get rid of that habbit.

spore prints are done.. note the boredom

As for the mushies in progress...
Its looking good so far, added some of the crazy packed cakes to the bigger chamber and removed that big ass cake.. about 13 cakes in it now.. hope thats not over packed.

I think I'll wait it oput before I post the next pics so that you guys can at least see a bigger difference.
