![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Psilocybe Semilanceata INDOOR mycobag grow
Psilocybe Semilanceata Unicorn Mycobag culture. - multispore Culture from Spores taken from the wild 2008 (germany, near Cologne). - rye grain spawn (30days) - Sterilized (2,5hrs.) substrate mix: Chopped straw 40%, straw pellets 30%, Horse manure 15%, Grass Seed (div. called 'Spiel & Sportrasen') 15% (45 days) - (Very thin) casing layer: Pot Flower Soil & Cocohum pasteurized - Temperatures: spawn 27-28 Degr. Celsius, fruiting 15-17 Degr. Celsius - Pins 25days after casing was applied. The fruits are far away from successful but I wanted to share it anyway. Got some fruits from a clone culture grow from early this year. They looked the same like these. This culture is multispore. The only one fruiting from 4 simultanously started cultures. We'll see if the bag will continue fruiting. It seems a bit to wet, but thats all I could say. It's fanned twice a day and is grown within the typical CF plastic boxes with holes which are plugged with synthetic cotton. 31.10.2009: ![]() 03.11.2009: ![]() ![]() 05.11.2009: ![]() 08.11.2009: ![]() ![]() And here are some very strange fruitbodies from this years Semilanceata outdoor finds. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Please hold your horses. I am really not satisfied. Thats not what I wanted to see. Remember Workmans indoor grow? I want to see normal fruits and lots of them ![]() I am hoping for more. And I will clone that strain for sure. And I did a fresh clone from wild 2009 specimen as well. But it seems like this is not a strain related problem. Could be the substrate or the moisture level. Perhaps it's the fresh air. I hope for a few words from WM himself. |

Keep going. First time I have seen this. You have done what many before have failed. Its a dream of mine to have these on my lawn. I was thinking of digging up some ground from a wild patch and transferring to my garden, but I don't know if this will work? Anyone tried that? |

I am trying this as well. According to Dr. J. Gartz you have to grow big amounts spawn and then bury it in a shady place in your garden. Place the grass on it and keep it moist. The following year you'll have fruits if you're successful. You have to use a fruiting strain for sure.

Also transplanting is another option, and I have found that it does work and rather well. You can cut out a known patch, and transplant to a new spot.Make sure you cut enough soil around and under the patch, and be as careful as you can while moving it.It is not a guarantee, but it can and does work... http://forums.mycotopia.net/wild-mus...ilanceata.html (Psilocybe semilanceata.)
