It all started for me with with the Professors book
My first year growing i was giving friends wierd galsses and beer bottles with a full invitro happening inside
I met Hippie at advanced cult first ...I read those arguments close
You allways made the most sense Dude
Mycotopia is such a good place to be involved with

say it's hard to heat the pc up on them.
esp. very large ones...
might be a problem

i use my pc on smooth top stove without a problem. Takes longer than all of the documented times ive seen tho.

Why do I like Hippie?....

He's strong.
He's confident.
He has an attitude. Mostly needed, sometimes not.
But he runs this site and has for years.
Puts up with alot of crap, handles it well. I like it when he gets finally pissed off.
He's straight about most and has survived because of that.
He gets respect from all...thats the biggest, because he gives it.
Why do I like him? I love him.

He runs the 'Topia like a Gentleman and an Adult and insists on the same kind of behavior in his guests.

He is tolerant and understanding of the "foot in mouth" disease that sometimes infects his more rambuncous guests.

He is fan of, and provides a forum for, openly sharing and debating ideas that some find problematic or distasteful.

And let's put a fine point on it: he runs the joint where my FOAF learned to grow shrooms.

the reason i like hippie is he has no problem sharing his ideas along with running a site that is alot more friendly then the shroomery. to me shroomery is a good site but i think of it as McDonalds of shroom info, where mycotopia is more laid back, and just about everything you could ever want to know is on here and if it is not it gives you a good basis to experiment from.

I am a very random participant here, but I had to pipe in on the rally for Hippie 3.
I like Hippie 3 because no matter all the bullshit drama that has gone on around here Hippie 3 still stands tall and is still contributing today.
Many you have "fought" are not around now.
Your longevity speaks for itself.
You've been here forever(in internet terms) and you still are in demand by many.
No total asshole would have made it this far.
That is proof that is irrefutable in my book!

This guy is involved day by day, minute by minute with his board and the community he's created. He runs a tight ship and is never afraid to call bullshit. I've seen him get a little surly with people at times, but never without good reason. He makes me think over my questions carefully and dig deep before posting something that gets asked by every newbie. Most of the time I find the answer myself AND learn 3 or 4 new things in the process!
He's kinda like a kung fu master. He ain't mean, he's just helping you get stronger!
