is the paranoia associated with bud just because of it's legal status in the world, or is it natural? Do people in 'Dam get all paranoid n shit?

Nah, I think the paranoia is just a possible side-effect of the general excited thought processes and whatnot that you get from smoking. I'd assume that marijuana's legal status in A-Dam probably relieves a bit of the stresses and concerns that arise when toking, but I wouldn't say that bud-paranoia is entirely dependant on its legal status. The paranoia, for me at least, seems to come from either a stressful smoking environment, or some kind of personal health issue(I'm diabetic, so smoking up sometimes lowers my blood sugar, which can lead to partial paranoia). I know when I smoke with some people and I have to sneak around and not get caught by leo/parents/concerned neighbors, I tend to worry a bit more than I do when I'm at home lighting up, relaxing on the couch. Pot, mostly sativa since its so much more cerebral, can cause a certain degree of paranoia just based on mindset, circumstance, and chance. Paranoia is different for everyone. Seems to me that the paranoia comes more from a personal inclination towards panicking and worrying than it does from the legality of the smoke. 'Course, worrying about leo hassling you doesn't seem to relieve too much stress...

I think it depends on how much you smoke. When I was there it was cool sometimes, but overdone and I bee-lined to the hotel and tweaked. I had to institute a four hit and quit rule.

One day soon I'm going to conquer this paranoia I have.I've had great results deminishing the paranoia in the past.I'm going to get rid of it!
