The spark

ok

its all about
chasing the spark

the spark that consumes the moment

the spark that comes from within and without from all at once, that leaves you shivering in its trail of burning creation

and the thing is, the harder you try to grasp this spark
to hold on to it keep it
the more elusive it becomes

you sit there
pathetic and feeble
trying over and over again
to reproduce the spark
to find it and put it in your possession

because you remember what it was like
getting high off creation

so you try and try
over and over
till hope is gone
the spark is never coming back
you are destined to live forcing failed creations
one after the other

it is at this moment,
in which all hope of attaining the spark is lost
is forgotten,
that you stop trying to create
something beautiful
something meaningful,
and you begin
to create to create
you mean just to mean
and you be just to be
it is here and now
that you become the spark


here and now
the self imposed obstructions melt
your mind becomes weightless
at the same time infinitely sharp
and as broad as the universe

it is at this moment
that you stop worrying about
trying to be the wave
and just be the ocean

it is in this moment
that you stop chasing the spark
and just be it

it was part of a statement i had to do for my creative writing class

wow opaline... that was very well written.. and so very true.. it's only after you give up and stop searching that you find the thing you are looking for.. and this seems to apply to everything be it love, a set of car keys, a lighter when trying to smoke, and is the reason i have 3 different rolls of duck tape...
