SUNRISE/SUNSET-a pictorial

I got a wild hair up my ass this morning (10-25-06) and decided to get some sunrise pics down at the beach. I think I will keep this thread going. twice a month or so I will get up and get a big cup of coffee and go down and shoot the sunrise. The cloud formations really can make a difference! Once Winter gets here the sunset will be able to be viewed and shot better due to the fact that I live on a south facing beach. So you'll be seeing some cool sunsets too!

Please add your Sunrise shots and or Sunset shots to this thread. The sun really is one of natures most incredible sights.

I think that the ice crystals in the air added to these some..It was un seasonably cold this morning....36 F....Thanks for the props.

Sunset 11-10, good cloud formations make for excellent pics.

I think that I'll post in a sunrise to sunset order from now on.

I was hoping more folks would share their pics of the glorious sun. Nevertheless, I'll keep puttin em out there and hopefully some of Ya'll will get some enjoyment from them.

That's moody lookin sunrise Chip ..lots of atmosphere....me likey...

I was stuck in traffic a few days ago and was lucky to catch this sunset..
The Sun is below the horizon and the bright spot is a "sun pillar" refracting
in a dense Cirrocumulus patch..

i took this one recently. i tweaked the color in photoshop a bit, but i loved the effect. awesome pics on here guys.
