Question Favorite Albums to Trip to

what ae you guys favorites? ive just started getting into listening to music while on trips. last few times have just loaded a few albums on ipod and just walked around alone and let things take me where they may.

so far if done and would recomend:

    tool - lateralus...kind of darker anti-establishment vibes
Infected Mushroom - I.M. the Supervisor...one of my favorites for any drug, just lots of good memories tied to it
Toubob Krewe - Toubob Krewe...really great positive tribal type stuff
The Beatles White album...nice happy childhood memories
Shpongle - tales of the inexpresable...more 'out of this world' phychonaut feeling

what should be next? only full albums please

Oysterhead - The Grand Pecking Order

If you don't know already, Oysterhead consists of:

    Les Claypool (mostly of Primus)
    Trey Anastasio (of Phish)
    Stuart Copeland (of The Police)

The Disco Biscuits are enjoyable for the trip also...

but that's more what I'm into right at the moment.

I personally like to listen to the album of whatever if going on around me in a dark room by myself, Terrence Mckenna is no liar when he says that on 5 dried grams in a dark room by yourself with little or no visual or audio input, things certainly are not boring. And of course, they get less boring the deeper you like to go with it all.

I really liked Mars Volta, recently, while tripping.

I agree that no stimulation is a great way to go.

I'm surprised no one mentioned playing music while tripping!

THAT is actually, one of my favorites!

I like to listen to some Rage Against the Machine, doesn't really matter which album. Some Cypress Hill is always welcome, or some Dr. Dre.

Edan - Beauty and the Beat (music on LSD, this guy used samples from 60's albums to create his beats)

    http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg...0:59syxdab5olf

    DJ Shadow - Endtroducing

    http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg...0:by61mpzf9fco

    DJ Shadow - Pre-emptive Strike

    http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg...0:v0qvadzku8w1

Give these a try, even if you don't like rap or electronica/trip-hop you will really enjoy the music.
