| Couple of my pieces.(charcoal and grey lead) Hey guys, I havent really looked in this section before, so when i saw it i thought id throw up a couple of my pieces. Always enjoying art, and martial artsi began a series of pieces of the great masters of martial arts history. Here's a couple that I've managed to find on my P.C ![]() This piece was done in charcoal and some grey lead. ![]() O sensei morihei ueshiba And this one is greylead only. I have a third half finished, but dont have access to a scanner atm. I saw one for $30 in the local Hock shop, might see if i can get him down to $25 and grab it. I wouldnt mind doing more work on my art again, It always relaxes me. I'm really looking forward to doing some work on my next trip when the time comes. I'm curious to see how it effects my hand, and style. Anyway, thanks for viewing guys, Fingers ![]()

| Thanks a lot Goll .As much as science(s) facinate me i think my mind is more suited to arts. writing, Music, sketching, they've allways been fairly natural to me. Regardless of that I'm pretty damn stubourn by nature, and myco-matters fascinate me to no end. I'll understand the nature of the beast eventually ( with time and a hell of a lot of reading. ![]() See ya buddy ![]()

| Thanks Jim ![]() As good as Lee was, he really would be out of place amoung the names in the series. These were the masters who founded the mother arts (for the greater part). I was planning on doing one of Yip Man though. (Lee's first serious master, though he accredits his starts with his father) O sensei Ueshiba is the one who inspires the greatest level of awe in me. Aikido is IMHO the most graceful and advanced art of the core Japanese arts. (Karatedo, Aikido/aikijutsu,judo and jujustsu). I was debating whether or not to include Chinese masters or to keep this a japanese series. I've studied as many chinese systems as i have japanese, but I've allways found the Japanese arts more condusive to my style. Then again, without the added fluidity that Wushu (kung fu) brought, i dont think i would have been half as effective as i was (at my peak). Anyway, i could talk martial arts for hours, but i wont. Dont wanna be putting u guys to sleep here. ![]() Be well guys Fingers

nice work. i did a charcoal portrait of an ex's dead father once. i did it from his passport photo (the only one she had--itsa long trajic story). anyway, the subject was so small and i wanted it to be perfect. i spent so many hours of intense concentration and staring at the photo, i swear to god he spoke to me late one night. i was strait-- not even a beer in me. that was quite an experience. i can only imagine on shroomz. those guys will be giving you lessons. may as well get the heavy bag out and ready before you dose. | |
