OEV with out drugs or shrooms!!

Good god man!! I don't know what is going on here.

I have OEV's quite often these days.

I can see energy flowing from the walls and I see spirits all the time. I see energy coming from my hands like cristiline sparks.

I think this might be a natural evolution of my spirituality. Some times it feels like too much to bare.

I get really high on absolutely nothing. I have to protect my self.

I see spirits, I see angels/demons, I see colors and I can feel everything around me.

    Obviously I am an Empathic

the problem is that I have these episodes of major ups and then comes the downs.

    I kid you not!

What the hell is happening. Should I just accept this new gift with open arms? Or shoud I moderate?

Godess doesn't give more than I can handle but she is giving me a bit much more than I desire.

Whell I do desire it but I am having a hard time working with it.

    Any Body have some advice?

DO YOGA. Learn to manipulate and control this visionary energy for the benifet of all living beings in every possible reality simultaniously without even moving.

I think you should be thankful to the Goddess and embrace your new ability. If you feel its a bit too much, consider fear and courage as two opposing poles of the same thing and 'vibrate' to the courage pole.

    Red face

    exciting and good advice here...

I have decided to embrace. At first I am going to have to be a little selfish (try it out on myself so to speak) Then I will use it.

I am a little scared right now but I have called on my spirit guides to give me guidance and protection in this new venture.

    It iz absolutely fukin amazing.

I am kinda scared of loosing myself in it. It is very pretty and I love it but I fear it may strike me down.

I can see everything (don't know how to xplain it)

the funny thing about it is that I don't have to take boomies any more. I got it all within myself.

I'm NOT doubting this as a spiritual awakening- one I am desperate to find....

But are you sure your not experiencing the first signs of being being bipolar or having some type of break from reality? Don't just dismiss this... How old are you- if you don't mind me asking? I don't mean to cast doubt in life, but you ought to be aware of all possibilities. If a client came to me and said:

I would FIRST AND FOREMOST disqualify mhealth problems.

Don't try to use...try to watch.

Don't try to move, try to be still.

Don't try to think, just try to experience.

Learn to focus. Go as Zen as you can imagine.

Find disconnection and you wil find connection.

2 hours of yoga a day would help you to see some amazing things. Learning to meditate for more than 30 minutes at a strech is also an excellent goal.

Are you a vegetarian? Any thoughts there?

Mental health is a state of mind. Insanity, like addiction, is only a real problem if it keeps you from getting to work tomorrow.

I agree with Bobcat. Although this my be a spiritual awaking for you, it is important to be open to all possibilities and explanations of your experience. From my own interactions with people going through some of the same symptoms as yourself, there were other medical explanations. I am not at all implying that you are or do have any of these as I am no expert and I don't even know you, but I am going to put some info out there for you and others to peruse.

Luv ya and respect ya Bucks- immensely in fact, but that is strictly an opinion based set of comments (not that you intended or implied otherwise). Neither of which being supported by current research.

I had a friend who had something similar start to occur with him. Everyone around him somewhat ignored it until he had a total psychotic break with reality and went on a rampage which put himself in danger. Once he was found (living homeless in winter on the streets of New York starving and freezing) he was taken to a hospital and diagnosed with schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder. At first he refused his medication and suffered greatly from this eventually losing touch with anyone and everyone. Now he lives in a house that was paid for by someone else and lives off of a disability check and never leaves his house.

Mental illness is a very real and serious problem in many peoples lives. It has nothing to do with their state of mind and in some cases cannot be dealt with alone. I'm not sure about your situation but if I were having the same experiences as you I would seek medical help first and foremost as I've heard of experiences like yours many times in my life and each and every time it turned out to be negative.

I hope all is well for you regardless of how you choose to handle this. Peace to you.

Hey, just wanted to say that between my first and second post here I had started drinking. Lol, heavily- I enjoyed it greatly, thank you! Anyway, I kept my comment short and to the point for that reason (didn't want to make an ass of myself).

Actually I agree with Bucky that mental health is a state of mind in the general sense. I believe you can talk yourself depressed and I believe you can talk yourself happy. I believe and have witnessed the power of a positive (and/or negative attitude) in both mental and physical health.

But when you get into the world of actual clinical depression/anxiety, a medical condition(s), people often lack the capability for true positive thinking- even if they think they are doing it. These people need #1 talk therapy and #2 Rx.

When you get into manic or hallucinatory states, no amount of positive thinking will help. These people need #1 Rx and #2 talk therapy.

As an interesting side note, however, not all people that experience hallucinations are bothered by them. Apparently many people here voices (that tend to have positive or neutral messages) or have mild visual experiences/ distortions without a problem.

So Raven, this could be spiritual or mental. Either way you need to decide for yourself if this is a NEGATIVE thing for you. Take it slow. How are you handling stress? Emotions? Importantly, what are others saying to you or how are they acting around you? Don't take this last part lightly. We all tend to discount what others' think- its a natural defense mechanism. But in this case you need to lower your guard and trust those who know you.

And please please please if you have even the slightest doubt about your situation, go talk to someone! Don't worry, you won't be committed or anything like that unless your dangerous. Just go talk to a health professional- someone you trust but don't know personally, if possible- and get their opinion.

I agree with Bobcat. Sky -- it's a great thing if you're suddenly able to see energy flow, but will also put a strain on your noggin, and can mean many things. Take it easy. I mean that -- take it easy. Be mindful of your actions and their consequences. Don't rush into anything. Live with your abilities and get used to them, until they're like comfortable old jeans.

Kundalini yoga would be a great idea -- you can find info online. Find some basic practice to focus on. It will take your mind off of the differences between how you were and how you are now, and can help you relax into your newfound abilities.

Just some thoughts. Post here, please, if you're reading this, to let others know you're okay.

Did any of you see that show about the guy who could communicate with aliens and got telekenetic powers after a lightning strike or something (I only saw parts of it)? In the end it was a brain tumor that responsible for his gifts. That's just a movie though, I'm not trying to say anyone has a tumor! This post just reminded me of that heh.

But if I could actually SEE things with my eyes that I couldn't before, and was not just aware of them mentally because I had been spiritually enlightened, then I would see my doctor right away. Schizophrenia is a very real possibility.

Some call it Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder or HPPD.

I call it "I'm never boored waiting in line because I can always watch the carpet grow..."

As Bobcat stated rather eloquently, it is largely in how you take it and what you do with it. If you are still showing up for work and personal commitments, things are probably good.

If you are freaking out and frightened, you should probably see a professional.

One way or the other, yoga and meditation could be very, very helpful.

I think all of us especially after doing hallucinogens are a little more sensitive to certain visual phenomenon. If you look at the center of a geometric pattern (this can be anything) or at a single leaf on a tree and focus on that one spot intently everything in the periphery will begin to shift and move. It will grow and patterns will emerge. This I think is completely normal. However seeing full blown hallucinations without the aid of any chemical is probably not quite the norm.

I wouldn't mess around with kundalini energy unless I was more experienced with meditation and yoga. I know a guy who has black belts in three martial arts who fought professionally for years until he was practicing kundalini yoga once and experienced a surge of energy he wasn't prepared to handle and it caused his muscles in his back to spasm so hard that several ligaments and vertebrae in his spine were torn (I don't know the specifics biologically speaking but he does) and he could no longer practice - his doctors predicted that he wouldn't be able to walk without an operation, which he refused, but he still walks.

I am joining Bobcat , Grace, and I Am Me in urging you to rule out the onset of florid psychosis or whatever. At the same time you need an open minded diagnostician if you go this route as the Western psychiatric/psychological perspective is relatively locked into itself and wound up to diagnose your ass as something.
I also recommend reading Gopi Krishna's, KUNDALINI, which describes his own onset, the amazement, the problem of channeling the energy, and in appreciating and realizing the Siddahs, or "gifts." He described the "devine madness" of sudden enlightenment and how he coped with things. His break through did not go away and his experience might help you.
Say you are not nuts and this is "real." If that is the case you need to take care with the following because you can suffer because of your hightened sensitivity. You need to be able to channel it and even to turn it down at times. It can be overwhelming to walk down the street " feeling everybody" all of the time. You want to enjoy your gifts not be burned out by them.
1.) The "gifts" should never be utilized in a selfish , destructive,or negative self serving manner. They are there merely to help you further along and to serve the needs of others without such hightened abilities.
Karmically, these things will fuck you up if you misuse them.
2.) You need some grounding especially until you get used to the power. Smokey quartz, hematite, and a variety of other minerals viabrate at frequencies that provide this. You will be able to feel their influence immediately the way that you've become.
3.) You need to carry protection against psychic attack and energy vampires. You will look very juicy to the heightened forces of evil and they will prey on you if they can. Wear or carry kyanite and/or labradorite and don't leave home without it.
4.) Dwell on positive things. Educate yourself yogically about chakras and work on them. Make sure that you project your Kundalini upwards so that it doesn't destroy the quality of your life. Learn to meditate well and regularly.

I hope that this has been helpful.

    Welcome!
