Epilepsy & Tripping

Does anyone know how Mushies and LSD can effect someone who has epilepsy and is on medication?'And if its safe?

LSD was tested to see if it was effective in treating a wide range of ailments. some Drs in japan even sucsessfully treated psorisis with it. ive never read any studies regarding its use w/ epilepsy. as far as meds, it would depend on what kind. psil. & LSD are some of the safest compounds around, but if a person is taking meds for a mental illness it should be avoided. one of the only "documented" dangers of LSD that wasnt propaganda was that it could push someone over the edge into psychosis if they were already teetering on the edge.

i have petit mal epilespy and i haven't noticed any ill effect from that during my trip. actually i find the attack almost non existence, again in my situation i know when i am going to have the attack and take the right action by slowing down and relax a bit.

A girl I know has petit mal seizures every 5 minutes, and a grand mal seizure every 3-4 months or so. She takes an array of high-dose anti-seizure medications as well as anti-anxiety medications. She does fine on surprisingly large doses of shrooms and she has smoked DMT on several occasions without incident. She hasn't tried and won't try LSD b/c of her seizures although there is no particular base for this decision. She's never freaked out or had a bad trip, but I'd imagine the stress and anxiety from a wayward journey could eassily be enough to induce a seizure, meaning, when you do trip, make sure you have particular emphasis on set and setting to make sure everything goes smooth.
