| Well SharkieJones, if you live in the USA that is not a native wild bird. It is an introduced parrot. There of large flocks of parrots in some parts of Los Angeles. They fly fast and are always calling to each other. Extremely cool. I don't have a bird book that covers parrots of the world so I can't tell you where its ancestors came from. Its more immediate ancestors were pets gone wild. It looks like they appreciate the sunflowers. Plant more and they will be back. They are very intelligent. |

| I was at Wal-mart a couple months ago walking back to my car... I looked up in the tree and saw I swear about 6-10 parrots. All in a big group... I stared like a couple other people that were staring. Cool birds.. unusual to see for sure. |
