Anyone Ever Vaporize?

Anyone ever vaporize their MJ? I've read some things and now I'm getting curious. Would love to hear about it.

I've used several vapourizors over the years. Starting with cheaper "sodering iron" styles and working my way up. For the last few years I have been using a Volcano vaporizer from Germany. I really like it. It fills a bag and has variable temperature control. I have a special attachment for smoking honey oil and hash.

I just recently got one called herbal air and it works great to. It also has a bag attachment but I dont use it. I just inhale directly on demand. This unit has a long cord (12 ft) so it can be passed around the room, whereas the volcano you fill the bags and pass them.

After 3 years of testing, i'd say that vapourizers rock. I love seeing the pile of spent plant material instead of ashes. The Heral Air unit takes whole unbroken buds in it ! Also my neighbour has a unit called vapour daddy which works great.

I've got a Vapir and it's alright. I still prefer the bong, but on occasion we fill up a bag of vaporized and pass it around... just for the novelty.

I have a handheld vaporizor i recently posted about: http://forums.mycotopia.net/showthread.php?t=22789 (Nice mini vaporizor) it uses heat dissipation threw a porous ceramic disc. You are still inhaling the fumes the lighter produces so its not as healthy as a unit using a normal electric heating element. but you dont burn the pot, it gets you just as high, and 4 hits in the pipe is twice as much burnt bud as 4 hits in the vape.

Its my daily piece.

I have a Volcano vaporizer, and it is amazing (it was a gift; no way I'm spending that kind of money for paraphernalia!).

I can toss in sticks, seeds, schwag, whatever, and the seeds never pop- it's great for extending a stash when you are running low. When I have a big fat bag of Love Potion #9 or something the Volcano gets me absolutely obliterated with very little bud, but I tend to prefer smoking the very best buds out of glass with a small torch lighter held far away (gives the best flavor, IMO).

The homemade and cheaper vapes work just fine, but the Volcano is better suited to actual medical users, getting several people ripped very quickly, and impressing stoner babes with such a complicated-looking piece of gear.

I used a vaporizer at a pot friendly cafe, it was similar to the vapor brothers or vapor warez style vapes. It makes a really clean taste and really brought out the flavor of the good canadian grass, you can get a nice one on ebay for about $140 with a nice ground glass fitting for the whip. Thats my reccomendation for a sound economical vape choice.

Well the Volcano looks pretty nice but I don't think I can get myself to fork over that kind of cash for it. I've heard some good things about the Silver Surfer....anyone ever heard of that brand?

I swear by a vapor brothers. I never really tasted weed till i vaped.
Damn. And my lungs feel great

Ive tried the bag ones and Feel that a whip gives me better hits with less waste.

I had a Vapor Brothers, vaporizer for a while. I loved it. I'd say it worked extremely well. Got the job done and then some. ;-)

Though, I originally bought it because my lungs weren't able to handle smoking; ...well I soon found out the vaporizer still was quite rough on my lungs. The vapors are quite effective at eliciting an asthma attack for some.

I used a Volcano in amsterdam. it works better than the other couple vapes I've used. its a chunk of change but does work very well...just go for the gusto!

I made my own vaporizer actually. Took a soldering iron, screwed a large salt shaker lid into it, and it worked alright

FOAF has one, it always tastes like mildly burnt popcorn when you smoke it. Gets you fairly high too.

I purchased a volcano last year and it has completely revolutionised my smoking habits, i highly recommend it
