CA Medical MJ...Anyone Have a Passport?

Just curious anyone have a free pass to smoke MJ in CA? How does the program work? Where do the nugs come from? Can peeps legally grow MJ in CA? Been reading the Cannabible lately and he makes referrence to this quite a bit. Thanks for any info to help satisfy my curiosity.

no such thing as a 'free pass'. however. YES, it is very easy to obtain a medical marijuana prescription in california. they advertise in every major free newspaper in every city that i can think of. state law permits 6 vegetatin plants, and 6 flowering. up to 3 lbs possession. HOWEVER some doctors will write prescriptions for much larger amounts, up to 99 and several pounds. People also form collectives and have one grower grow for them. people also can sell cannabis to other patients after verifying their medical status. HOWEVER you cannot charge for the pot. u charge for the 'labor'.
The nugs at any given cannabis club, along with the hashes, candies, clones and other extracts come from vendors. a vendor is anyone with a medical prescroption who brings pot to the club for sale. some clubs will buy from anyone, some from certain people.

hit me up in a PM if u have any more specific questions.

its very easy to get one. i have relatives that have the cards. its legal to grow in the states eyes, but the feds can still come kick ur door in and take u away. the only shitty part is u have to register in a data base that you are a smoker or grower, so if u are growing the feds can see that if they want to.

Do employers have access to that database, I wonder?

there is no database, u r misinformed. u can chose to register with your respective county but u r NOT required to, or even encouraged. i have never heard of anyone who was growing the state legal six plants ever have any federal trouble.

if u r a 100% totally legit medi grower, u can register your grow with the county sheriff, but again, you are NOT required to. by registering with the sheriff, you are guaranteed a visit around september and depending on the county it can go a few ways. in some, you can have six of any size. in some, only six that have a projected yield of 3 lbs. some, 99 but only in a 100 square foot gardening area. its all up to the local DA, and if he dont like you, he can call the feds no matter what ur doctor says.

Great topic of conversation Sharkie! I've always wondered how it worked out there in Cali too.

Seems to be a bit of conflicting info. Seems to me they'd have some sort of registration going on.

well, i cant speak for ur relatives. however, i have had my information verified the first time i go to a new club. BUT, alot of times not so. they just look at it, you, and let u in. again, there is no database. they call ur doctor. sometimes ur doctor will make u sign a release before giving ur info to a club. your status as a medical patient is 100% confidential between n ur doctor. you can register at your own discretion.
