    The Clash was definately a more talented band! LOL However, you just cant beat the raw angst and power of johnny and the boys.
    Ahh the days of my youth.....
    Nothin screams punk like the Onstage presence of a stoned and bloody Sid Vicious, SteveJones and Paul Cook ramming those same three chords and beats down your throat, and of course... the howl of Rotten as he belts out " We're pretty... pretty va-cant.... and we dont caaaare!" Sex PiSTOls all the way.

    lol. back in the day when i had my punk thing going on this was one of those stereotypical questions people ask you just cause they see a mohawk. everyones so sure you have to like one or the either, but honestly, i never got into either of them. the sex pistols had some funny shit i've laughed at, but musically they both are on the same level for me...

    Once the Clash got a couple of checks & got their teeth fixed, they blew. Sid was never plugged in on stage, due to the fact he was awful on bass. For real. Steve Jones made up for it, somefuckinghow. The line "Lord God have mercy on all crimes of hate!" is up there with Black Sabbaths' finest.
    The clash playing soldier boy on stage played out quick. Better musicians? Probably, (before Joe Strummer bit it) meant nothing. No one listened to the Pistols for sychronized harmony.
