    What are YOU Thankful For?

In the day to day grind it's easy for most to get caught up in what they don't have or the lemons that are handed to us with out warning. I too have fallen victim to this.
But today I was driving with my daughter, who was singing in the back seat, and started to notice the trees, the birds, the sun in all its glory. I started thinking about all the things that have happened recently and i was thankful that I woke up this morning and was given another chance to do it all over again, if you will.

I am thankful for my daughters and their smile even through the worst of times. Innocence is such bliss.
I am thankful for the roof over my head and the food on my table. I am thankful for my sight. To be able to see the sun shine, to see it rain, to see the words that the members put here, to see my daughters dance, sing and laugh... When i really think about all that I have, the "bad" doesn't seem all that bad. Cause we all know it could always be worse.

So, I ask you, what is it that you are thankful for?

    Good thread:
Im thankful for my daughter also, and the rest of my family. Even my wife most of the time.lol. My dogs and cats and my health. I would have to say life in general. Just the ability to wake up and do it all over again as you stated. Im thankful for my freedom as well. And this forum.

amongst many other things, Id say the one that stands out right now is the ability to work.

I'll add more later....cause right now I'm at work.

With all the crap that has rained on me the past couple months, I haven't thought about this for while. Thanks for bringing it up!

I'm thankful for the colorful life I've led and all the people involved in it. I'm thankful that my health has turned for the better. I'm thankful for the doctors who told me I don't have Lupus and/or any other kidney disease/cancer. I'm thankful for my mother and all the help she continues to provide. I'm thankful for Mycotopia and all the helpful/interesting people I've met. I'm thankful for inspiration.

I'm thankful for this question. Really got me looking at the positives in my life.

I'm thankful for the ability to be thankful. It's sad all the people in the world who have soo much to be thankful for and yet they are still miserable. So, thank God I can say "thank you"!

Hippie, 'well hung' ?, your belly is not suppose to be hung over the belt buckle like that. But I guess a great wife, fine cooking, tasty food is something extra special to be thankful for

thankful all my senses still work, my bones are broken, my joints still move, my muscles still useful, and organs not diseased. i thank the universe for creating the earth i walk on and all the varieties of life it has, that is slowly being lost. thanks for them at least for existing. but most of all lets thank the bears, lions, lynx, whales, tigers, elephants, sharks, dolphins, owls, wolves, sea lions, seals, penguins, on and on for being there to remind us we're not alone.

I am thankful for that tiny star that shines pon us, although some days I just cannot stand it and wish it would go away until Im ready for it again...
I am thankful for people, people I know, and people I dont, although there are many days that I cannot stand people in general and will do anything to stay away from them...
I am thankful for being given an open mind, though at times I almost drive myself insane thinking about shit...
I am thankful that there is still clean water to drink, although the water that we drink is owned by some company and we cannot have it unless we pay for earths most abundant resource so others may capitolize....
I am thankful we still have land that we can grow our food on, but feel bad because half of this planet is starving or poverty stricken and I eat when Im hungry...
man................I dun even know where I was goin with this...but.....
I dunno, insomnia again. LOL. prolly shouldawrote it all dif, whtevr..lol, Bless yas, Ras

i am thankful for the woods near my home where i went walking today,
for the trees there whose roots know only one place in a lifetime,
for the creatures there that live and die in obscurity.
    for love and changing seasons...
