| plugs anyone here guaged out their earlobes? today i took out some acrylic plugs. peeeee fuckin youuuuuu i have to say i like the buffalo horn the best. it is easy to keep lubed (with avacado oil) and low low scent/smell/aroma ime. metal and acrylic are freakin rank!!!!! btw dont worry i take my plugs out regularly and wash my ears and jewelry. then oil them up (i know i know they arent supposed to get wet, but forget that, they need to be cleaned)

| i can show you my plug collection and talon, buffalo horn jewelry, but my holes themselves are now in the process of closing. the other day when i took out the acrylic plugs the odor was just so rank that i said, forget it, im taking these things out of my ear. ive kinda been on the edge as far as letting my ears heal anyway. and when i wear my talons they would catch my clothes and snag and pull my ear, that shit hurts. so my camera batteries are charging as we speak. tonight ill have pics, tomorrow night at the latest.

| plugs are like earings but thick. they can go from the width of a tic tac to HUGE, im talking the size of a baseball . i could easily pass a pencil through my ear with noooo problem. probably could get a nice med sized sharpie marker through if i lubed it enough itll be easier to understand with the pics some are hollow, some are natural some are acrylic, metal etc ill update later

| starting with the left all of this jewelry is stainless steel. basically you have to start guaging your ears out with this, because most jewelry manufacturers dont make cool acrylic ..etc jewelry very thin. most ears are pierced around 14 gauge, the lower the guage the bigger the hole. so you start thin and kinda play with your earings once in a while. your ears will loosen up and then you slide a bigger guage in . sometimes it stretches the skin a lil but not often. you can see how the jewelry starts to get thicker . thats how you do it, thin thick thicker etc. the first jewelry is horseshoe style then you have a horseshoe with the ball that goes in the middle then you have a solid plug (little bar) that is held into place by two lil Orings on each end (so it doesnt fall out of your ear) and finally you get into some cool jewelry the last are flanged open plugs they are just the shape of an O, nothing inside. the ends are wider than the middle so your ears have to be stretched enough to slide the flanged part in (that sucks at first)

| now comes my favorite type of jewelry the buffalo horn it has rad designs and doesnt get an odor even 1/4 as fast as metal you see there are spirals (really cool) then my favs first are half cresents with some nice hand carved tops and bottoms (the black area is buff horn, the top white part is some sort of bone, i forget what it was) i loved them half crescents next comes another rad design. plugs with a silver hand created design in the front i love the design, very eastern indian influenced. (it was made overseas, forget where)

| next we have acrylic im not a big fan of it because most of acrylic jewelry is neon and wild (think ravers and E parties )although i did find a nice amber colored plug that has some cool bubbles and natural color designs in it from its creation when outside the light goes literally right through these. they glow like they are illuminated. i actually had a guy at a store ask me if they were lit up earings lmao but these were the plugs that i took out and had a rank odor. this is one of the reasons i dont like acrylic, they need to be washed very very very very often. as you can see these plugs also were held into place with o-rings

| now your probably saying whoa whoaaaa what about them sharp ass curved things you totally forgot in the steel section lol i didnt forget they are talons sharp as hell on the point and heavy held on by an oring in the front and the weight of the jewelry from behind they look BADASS BUTTTT they snag on scarfs and hoodies in the winter and are heavy enough to gauge your ears without you wanting too not TOO much, but you will feel the ears loosen slightly if you wear them for months on end it got to the point that i could EASILY slide that whole thing through my ear because the holes in my lobes became so relaxed and used to that size jewelry the would actually fall out forward from not having enough of a grip on them from my lobe.

| so thats my jewelry im kinda sad to see them go but i just dont desire to wear them anymore you would be surprised how resilient your earlobes are my ears were guaged to about almosttttt 00. probably 0. and they are now already almost totally small again (been about a week since i took out the jewelry) it is my belief that you can gauge down to about 00 without ever having to worry about your ears not returning to a normal looking earlobe. the metal jewelry is easy to clean, just take it out, wash with water and soap , wash off the o-ring and your done the buff horn and acrylic jewelry should be washed with warm water and light soap, and then immediately lubricated with a natural oil. i used avocado oil. two drops can do all the jewelry i have. the jewelry should be taken out AT LEAST once a week, and cleaned as well as cleaning your earlobes thouroughly. below is a pic of the avacado oil. i have had that bottle for almost two years now. and only used less than half. thats about it, hope you enjoyed the show

| lol thanks make it a granny apple please i currently dont have any piercings either. no jangling ![]() the running is going eh ok. ive only gone one other time. im totally slacking and have no one to blame but myself. i think im going to sell this jewelry or give it away or trade it, something. ill never use it again in my life. someone could gauge from a regular piercing all the way down with this jewelry. i cant believe how much i spent on this stuff. i think everything there cost over 300 bucks total. lol and it all fits in my pocket.
