| Jardine is a bad ass a striker with a leg kick and a demon on the ground Lidell is mostly a striker, probably the best at one time, if you dont get KTFO before he gets gassed you'll be OK. Lidell is not Technical, no kicks. I fight/train amatuer MMA so I have lots of opinions, heh....

| A few years back I met Evan Tanner. Hung out with him and some other friends a few times. He was training at the time so he didnt drink. When we would go to a bar there was always someone trying to hit on his hot girlfriend. The first time it happened I was thinking oh shit this guy is going to get fucked up. Tanner would just laugh it off and by the guy a drink or something. I thought it was pretty cool. A guy that was well known for fighting who would have every reason to fight and he would try to make friends instead. Guess he didnt feel like he needed to prove anything to anyone outside the ring.

| That sentiment is true of most MMA fighters and martial artists I have had the pleasure to have known. There are a million and one reasons to never ever get in to a bar/street fight. We learn to be experts at fighting so we never have to throw a punch.

Also, after throwing yourself and everything you've got at other MMA fighters, it can be really easy to put someone in the hospital without even meaning to. Then what? I've btdt, and though it felt kinda satisfying at the moment, later, when the realization of what I had done sank in, it wasn't so satisfying. Worrying about the legal ramifications of 'is he going to press charges?" "am I going to get sued/arrested?" become very real concerns at that point. And believe me, once a drunk fuck nut realizes who he picked a fight with, he doesn't really fight in the brawl he just caused, but he'll fight back with lawyers and police for sure.

| Let me say i am by no means a mma fighter but i do know chuck wrestled almost all his life in high school so he is ok on the ground, however he is not a black belt in jujitsu i understand that but he def has skills on the ground and he also was in kempo witch i believe is a form of kick boxing, which chuck has fought in k1, pride, ufc, and many other compotition style fighting, he also knocked out rampage in pride fighting for sure. I have not seen the fight yet i was at a buddys right before the fight but had to leave. he is not training like he should being he is getting older he should train more study more who hes going to fight and train train train seven days a week no more drinking and smoking. Then we will c how chuck is. That is my opinion. |

| Well Chuck is so one dimensional of a fighter everyone knows what he is going to do. Try to knock you out. If a guy happens to be a decent striker and can hang, then you know what lidells trying to do. Jardine came in with the perfect game plan. He would kick and throw a few strikes and back off. Usually Chuck is a counter puncher and he feeds off of opponents that engage him. Jardine engaged a little but but just enough to get a few shots in and get away. I thought he did great! Excellent fight! Chuck is still great he has alot left in his tank. The guy can win at anytime. He was just exposed for his lack of mixing it up. Also, Rampage really destroyed Chuck the first fight. He seriously elbowed him in the ribs and bullied lidell until lidell verbally tapped. Real sad day for Chuck. Dana white was watching also! Now that division is all screwed up. Jackson lost to vandy and shogun, but beat lidell and took his title. Now griffin was beat by jardine and tooled shogun. Who fights Page next? Really hard to tell unless we see ufc give some of these fights that I would love to see. Mix up any of these guys to fight and figure this division out: I think Tito and Lidell can beat shogun easily. If Jackson learned the clinch then I favor him winning now. I think he has progressed as a fighter from the last time these guys fought. Not to mention I don't even believe he was training full time when he fought either of them. Chuck Liddel Tito Ortiz Shogun Vandy Griffin Jardine Alexander Evans PUt all those fights together minus any rematches and we have a clear idea of whos at the top. I would love to see Griffin vs Vandy, Griffin vs Lidell, Griffin vs Evans, Griffin vs Alexander. Alexander vs Lidell, Alexander vs Shogun or Vandy, Ortiz vs Alexander. I think first off they should throw Alexander at Vandy and give this as his warmup fight. But I know Vandy wants Griffin. However, I think Griffin will beat Vandy even worse. Shogun is much more precise of a striker and he actually tears up Vandy himself. The worst part is his loopy sloppy punches. Griffin has a chin and throws inside straight punches very precise. When people come in at him with loopy punches he always gets the better of it. Watch his last few fights. Even the Jardine fight. Jardine has that weird style where he can beat anyone at any time. And hes tough as nails. Alexander, has crazy power but I dont' know how he would do against a grappler. Never seen him make it past a minute.... I think Vandy and Lidell also need to fight before they both go down hill. It would make sense bc they have both been fighting forever. Not to mention even on some of the same events in brazillian vale tudo fights.

| I think Chuck's next fight is against Wanderlei Silva from what i've heard. Maybe Jardine will have that fight now that he's beaten Chuck. Not sure. Regardless, either of those 2 got their work cut out for them, because Silva is a bad sumbitch!
