P. cubensis as medicine

SWIM had a pretty severe respiratory infection that was still lingering after two courses of conventional antibiotics. After reading some info on the internet about P. cubensis and anecdotal effectiveness against such things, SWIM decided to try a low dose regimen of 500mg per day of P. cubensis powder in capsules. At that dose SWIM noticed no changes in perception. After 4 days all signs of the lingering infection were completely gone. SWIM's girlfriend (who knew nothing about the experiment in progress, and who had been bugging SWIM to go back to the doctor) commented about his cough being gone and the noticeable improvement of his health. SWIM continued the treatment for 3 more days to make sure and all is good. SWIM imagines that the medical community/pharmaceutical industry would not want people knowing this.

Before my FOAF started this hobbie, I was burdened with debilitating panic attacks and anxiety that I think was cause by excessive extacy use in the late 90's (just a personal feeling as to the cause). I was put on Zolft by my doctor and it seemed to help a bit, though I still had the occasional attack. Since I have been dosing way more regularly due to my FOAF's hobbie, I haven't had one attack. It is absolutely amaizing! I have been dosing like 2 gr a week and I have never been clearer headed or happier. Panic attacks were effecting my work, my relationships, my free time, and now I am truely free from all the hardships. These substances are so healing in nature I also feel that they do clear out my lungs of cigarette gunk. Alot of times on larger doses I get " the drip" and cough up all kinds of crap. Feel much better the next day!

just some of the things MAPS has posted about psilocybin, probably more if you dug deeper. its sad, fungi, is not illegal because its a poison, its illegal because society thinks its a poison, no matter how safe it sounds, we are just too damned afraid of what it might do. and many of those who do bravely explore still have that culture's mindset when they partake, when what we need is a whole new conception of it so that people dont become, insane or injured, since that's what society tells us what will happen.

Probably the most eye-opening part of this for my FOAF was that a below threshold dose was very effective. This is important for a multiple day regimen, what with work and all, and the need to be functional in the world.

I have not tried it but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I just like trippin! LOL!

thats kind of funny, i have a FOAF who had a head cold, nothing serious, dripping nose, coughing, typical stuff.

after a dose, roughly a gram, he felt a lot better and hasn't had any symptoms recently.

i would say its a noticeable healer.
