What music are you listening to now?

I go in phases and try to mix it up alot, but i often find myself listening to a "set of songs" for a month or so then change again to another set.

Im really digging REM Southern Feedback, The Grateful Dead -I Shall Be Released, i like dylans version but it lacks Jerrys guitar. Neil Youngs Its Only Castles Burning, and his Decade album, cd to u younger folks lol. Jethro Tull is making some airplay at the house too. Pearl Jam Black too, there are more like Dana Carvey Choppin Broccoli and Munuhmunuh i listen to with my son lol, and his favorite Monty Pythons Spam bit.

Im not asking for an all inclusive list, just a list of tunes you like to hear right now. Like when i get home i listen to:

    Rocket

Now playing is something I bought today after hearing so many good things about it, and it hasn't left my computer all day: "The Tony Williams Lifetime-The Collection", a compilation of two of the best Electric Jazz Rock albums ever.

    http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...55310?v=glance

Mind-Blowing, heavy and funky as hell! Guitar legend Allan Holdsworth is tearing it up on this, and Tony was one of the best drummers out there, he died in the mid-90's I think.

I'm listening to this and all I can say is "DAMN!!! This is one bad-ass collection of jams!"

There's one track with vocals that's OK, the rest is total instrumental blow-out.

If you like this kind of music, you'll enjoy this one.

I've been listening to a 'net radio station, ChroniX Aggression, mostly Hardcore doom rock/metal and such, i've found quite a few bands that i haven't heard before on it, and some that i already know and love...

    http://64.236.34.97:80/stream/1039

Hit "Add URL" in winamp and enter that, if your into that sort of thing.
If your not, you might be surprised, a lot of it is very musical, despite the type of music it is.

SSI I would recommend tunes like "Johnny Cash", "Jellyfish"," Mauna Bowa" they have such a range from country/bluegrass to jazz to southern rock.
I have about a dozen cover tunes they did all are great from Aerosmith to Ozzy.

    Peace...

Well I guess tech and trance are my favs. Some breakbeat too. As far a production's, i'd have to say Crystal Method, Timo Maas, Sasha and John Digweed, Yum Yum, and Hybrid of course! A little bit of Uberzone too. Shit I can go on and on naming great electronic music producers and dj's.

The last albums I bought was "Hopes and fears" by Keane, a quality depressing British band. Also "You are the quarry" by Morrissey, the king of grey dreariness.

Well your lists show me how out of touch I am, never heard of most of them.
Is there an internet radio station that plays these people/bands??
I haven't had much time to listen to music but have been getting into some traditional tribal/organic music.

It's not traditional, but Ariel Cybana mixes "tribal" house. She has mixes from "Provacative" that can be downloaded.

Digitally Imported is good for online techno streaming.
