Have you guys checked out Fukudome, that dude is a true 5 tool player and someone the Cubs have needed for a long long time. I saw him gun a strike from medium depth right field, steal bases, hit to the opposite field, and hit for power. He is a smart baseball player.

You're right rocket....Fukudome is the whole package and exactly what the Cubbies needed. Derek Lee is on fire, we just need Soriano to settle down and get comfortable. Kerry Wood seems to be coming around as a closer....things are looking up.

Just goes to show you that big money free agency doesn't always pan out. I'm sure they'll get on a roll eventually. A lot of these teams with big pay rolls have some older players that are due to start declining in production.

Seems my Angels and Dodgers are going to stink up the joint this year.

I usually root for either thats winning. Yes, I am a self admitted front runner....makes every season a winner for me!

I just love everything about the game...Especially watching the Yankees choke in the playoffs and Stiebrenner blowing a gasket. Every year its the same thing, I hear the Beatles singing "Can't buy me Love" except 'love' is a metaphor for the World Series. Almost as good as watching the defeat on Bonds face when the chance of finally winning a World Series evaporates...yet again!

I wonder if this season is going to be ratcheted down because of the whole Steroid crack down?

Also, its funny how bonds is still a great player even without the roids. he would be an awesome dh in the american league, and yet nobody is touching him with a ten foot pole.

that speaks volumes when teams could really use this guy yet refuse to sign him. maybe he is blacklisted, or possibly teams just dont want the circus he brings to the clubhouse.

That's the sad part bro,the guy was a great player(doesn't mean i like him,but that's fer another day

) and (prob) on his way to the HOF before he started using(imo Clemens included) Roids.
