Some cool Tattoos I came across

I posted these photos at the Nook and kilgore and controlphreak both accused me of photo shopping these images.

Kilgore even went so far as to post a picture of the kid with the stomach tattoo with no tattoo saying that he had to search the internet for young men with nipples to find a body to attempt to prove or suggest that I photo-shopped the tattoo onto a body.

I commented tha I thought it was strange that he would go looking foer a site with young men's nipples. I thoght that was disgusting.

When I defended myself by posting the memory cards photo images with the card data of the photographs which is on every memory card and photo taken to show i took those iames, I was banned from the site.

And I was sent no letters or email tellingme I was banned. when Itried to reply to his accusations, I was not able to log back into the site.

    Here are the images.

The first four are from the Seattle U-Districts areas Rite-Aid store on 45th Avenue.

A dude had an arm tattoo and I asked if I could photograph it and he said yes. I took two shots, one with a macro and one with a normal lens.

So here are the photos i took of his tatto on his arm.

Then this kid asked me if i would like to photograph a better tattoo and I said yes and he lifted his shirt.

    Here are those two images.

A week earlier I had photographed this girls new tattoo at the downtown Seattle Bartels store. She was a clerk at the counter and I asked her if I could take a picture of the tattoo on her arm which was still pretty fresh.

Right before I went to Thailand, I photographed this girls arm in the U-District in Seattle.

And while I was in Amsterdam in March of this spring, A girl asked me to remove a gauze pad from her tattoo over her butt cheeks and put some vasceline
on it since she said it was getting itchy.

I agreed to her request and asked her if I could take a photogrpah of the tattoo and she said sure.

And this was a poster on the main street from the train station in Amsterdam. It was posted about every 1/2 block on the street in a glass frame and some where the glass had been broken out of the frame.

The image was also seen on other streets in and out of the coffee house district and in other areas, including when i went to the US Embassy to get extra pages added to my passport.

Here is a full copy of that image formthe poster before I cut it out and whitened the background so it was clean.

    mjshroomer

I thnk this is a new fad that whenever i see an arm tattoo I am going to ask if I can take a few pictures of them.

I often see a lot on the streets on Braodway on capital Hill and in downtown and the U-District and around Greenlake.

The whole point was is that they are real photographs, not photo-Shopped images.

As I noted above, that last image is a poster plastered all over the city of Amsterdam. It is just a tattooed girl on a frame on the streets of the city.

Here is the whole photograph without the tattoed girl cropped out of it.

    Beautiful ink shots, man.

The dudes at the Nook are idiots.

    I've seen your photoshopped stuff.

If you had done those in photoshop, they would look better!

    Yesterday's Two Tattoo's

Okay, A girl on the very corner where I shot the girl in the Bikini back in April, had a new tattoo on her arm. She also had lines for a newer one on the same arm where the artist had just began to prepare for a larger tattoo.

You can also see her skin is beginning to peel off a little.

I asked her if I could take and photo and she said yes.

A punk rocker type of girl with a nice attitude.

After a few photo shots of her arm, She said I could take a photo of her tattoo on her back and that she would lift her shirt up up to her neck if I didn't mind.

Well, there were a lot of students walking around the U-district on the Ave so I suggested it might not be cool to do that and maybe she would be better off not lifting her blouse up to her neck in public. I told her the ave had several pairs of patrolling bicycle police on the beat so it pribably was not a cool idea for her to do that.

Cool she said, but then she turned around and told me to go ahead and take a shot of her top shoulder and spinal area tattoo.

It was then I noticed she had all these horrible scars on her back.

She told me she had been attacked once years before by a guy with a kniife who stabbed and slashed at her at least 16 times. You can see some of the scar tissue. I thought it was a start of tattpo scars.

She said whe was getting the tattoos for her back and later for her shoulders and neck to cover the scars and had just started to get some of them in the last few mnths. So she was pretty nice for sharing her tragedy with me and letting me shoot her tattoos.

Two hours later I went to the Bank and a tall dude had a round three inches in diameter kind of a Star-Gate tattoo.

A circle within a larger circle.

I asked if I could photograph his shoulder tattoo and he said, "no! Thats my quiet time."

So here is the girls arm, and her back shoulder and spine , her uper neck area with her scars and dreadlocks.

mjshroomer I gotta say you take some very wonderful photos and these were very excellent. you have my respect for considering not taking her up on the pulling up her top. There should be more people like you. Thanks for sharing I've been wanting tattoos myself and I'm convinced b/c those are very beautiful and love the fact they are colorful.

A Tattoo from the Safeway Store

A 66-year-old woman with a mans haircut and piercings, multiple earrings and tattoos let me photograph her rose in the Safeway supermarket yesterday.

I used the automatic auto levels in photo shop for the 2nd image.

    O

This girl was waiting for the bus at the tunnel near the Paramount Theater adn I asked to take some pictures. I had 7 more photos and my lens somehow got fogged. a shame because her back tattoos were awesome and I had a great one of her otherside of her left arm which also blurred.

On her right, was a single tattoo and she said that was her first one.

The chest one was also pretty cool but I didn't asked her to lower her bluse. She was nice for letting me take her tattoo photos. I keep a bunch on my camera so people knwo I am taking tattos and not chests or breasts, except for the girl last spring in the Bikini on the Ave.

Here are six new images of awesome colors.
