Hey 'topiates ![]() I want to share this with you all, i know some of you are interested in the heavenly bodies like i am This used to be a .gov website, but has since been retired and is now switched to a .org site and its quite a bit easier to use than before. http://www.mapaplanet.org/ you can see amazing detail and color, the way i use it is with the "natural color".. this option lets you view the images in natural color reflected light, as the human eye sees it. The UVVIS and other false color image versions are also available if you go to the original planet mapper and chose the other formats. Here are a few that i saved earlier of the Moon.. http://www.mapaplanet.org/explorer/moon.html using the natural color. ![]() pretty amazing!! allot of people still think the Moon is just grey and boring, but here you can see, the real Clementine images, and i hope many people will be able to stop wondering about the blah, grey images.. and asking " is this all there is? with equip. available in the 90's? no color images? " well, there sure is!! lol If anyone needs help figuring it out just holler. Ill do what i can if your interested and want to figure it out. ![]() I hope you enjoy them like i do. ![]()

The prettiest colors of celestial photography usually involve some filtration of the primary image.

PROVE to me those are original non-retouched images. I've heard the moon is just and group hallucination, meant to explain tidal flows and keep people from looking into the Earth's internal moon... Tinfoil hats man, they come in all sizes.

Ya gotta make your own for it to work. Store bought hats are known for thin coverage in the L3, L9 and L15 areas. The CIA pays them to keep them thin in those areas, by the way.

lol you want me to PROVE it to you? this is not something i need to prove, and honestly.. i dont care to prove anything to anyone. its really quite simple... the moon has color, these are the colors of the moon if you want " PROOF" , look around for yourself, it is no secret! no conspiracy here. is it really that hard to accept there is (ohh noo... look out.. COLOR on the moon?) if youre not comfortable with that fact... dont accept it! i really dont mind either way. or is that not even the issue? and its that some of you guys just like to toss out your "conspiracy theorist/ tinfoil hat wearing/ lunatic shit".. shit for anything your not comfortable with or that seems "weird" to you, , or is it that some folks simply are not comfortable accepting that there are things they just havent yet been taught or learned, and "feel they should know"? doesn't matter. it's an interesting fact, and i wanted to share it, this thread really warranted no such "tinfoil hat wearing, conspiracy shit" thrown into it. niice one tho guys. you get an A for effort.

Hey, Ras, just rattling your cage a bit. My apologies if I went a little too far. I was rather drunk last night when I wrote that. I'm just trying to demonstrate a point - it is hard to have an argument when people make up their own definitions and draw their own conclusions from "evidence." When someone believes the Zapruder film was tampered with (so it can't be trusted) but still trots it out to support their points, you get trapped in a vicious circle. It is kind of like trying to argue religion with someone who genuinely believes the Earth is only 6,000 years old and fossils were placed here by God to test our faith...the intellectual dissonance is too great to overcome. The tinfoil hat reference is in relation to a commonly held belief amongst schizophrenics that federal agencies are beaming mind control (and/or mind reading) rays at them from radio towers. The layers of aluminum foil shield them from the rays. When you notice someone is wearing a tinfoil hat, it tends to color the degree of sincerity you apply to anything and everything they say. Including the stuff you agree with. Sorry for jacking your thread and screwing with you, man. It was mean-spirited and I do apologize.

That was friggin' funny. Favorite quote: "However, you should avoid American and European coins at all costs as they contain aluminum based mind control circuitry. Canadian coins are free of this threat mainly due to the Canadian government's choice of neglecting psychotronic research in favor of research into giant robotics." I love giant robots! I may have to consider migrating North...

The Copernicus crater looks cool as hell. Kind of organic. Reminds me of a retina.
