So in 07 I order a couple boxes of hips myco bags as I was wanting to try my hand spawn bags without adding the complications of having to make them. So the whole thing was a side project not really the front burner kinda deal......well any who a box got forgotten. I moved this summer and found it. I figured what the hey I am gonna give these guys a try. Well when I opened the box there was a smell. About a third of the box was bad. Understandable for a two year chill session. The ones that went bad fell to bac. and I mean bad really thick brown stuff that looked like leather. And one or two that was slimy inside. The other ones were fine. I tried to recook the ones that went to the bad....BAD IDEA! My house smelled sooooo bad sooooo bad I tell ya. I ended up tossing the whole lot of the contaminated ones. The other two thirds I shot up and everything was fine. They grew just like the ones that I shot up when I ordered the batch. I used them to make some of my outdoor beds this year with success.
2 years them bags sat in the box they were shipped in. I was very impressed. So here is to hip for a quality product.
