Do Bufo Alvarius's shed????

I sure hope so, I have never heard anything of this sort, so I really hope that they are supposed to. It isnt shedding like a snake, his/her skin was just looking a little milky and then I rubbed it slighly and it peeled off revealing a more shiny almost wet looking skin underneath.

Yes they do. Do not remove it, your toad will consume the old skin. They do not shed like a snake or as often as the snake. This is a sign of growth and getting ready to go into hibernation.

How come I have never heard anything about this anywhere else, I believe you I just find it weird that it isnt on the bouncing bear care sheet or anywhere else.

Note that all reptiles and amphibians shed several times in their lives. Nothing to worry about, ur baby will be prettier than ever
