Damn good job, bro. I was wondering about casing old logs that have basically quit fruiting to try and produce one more flush. Have you ever done this?
Keep up the good work! Welcome to topia!

Thanks and to answer some questions, never tried old exhausted logs before...but give it a try it cant hurt...and dry wieght for not even half the grow is 86g...also this is straight from a kick ass Syringe who knows maybe it was from TLG? maybe...maybe not...p.s. syringe is over 6 months old...amount of spawn was 5 quarts WBS in a 23" log which never pinned...also was buffalo poo 2 quarts...and of course that lovely stuff called straw

yeah that adds up.
if you go by the generalization that each qt will probably give you around one ounce dry.
you used five qts, that SHOULD give you five ozs dry. factor in the POO and STRAW and you may be looking at about 6/7 ozs dry.
very impressive.

congrats!
make sure to dunk and recase.
probably plenty of nutes left in those casings for a few more flushes

Ok I had a thought while I was sitting down tonight just reading through the old Mycotopia Archive...I thought about the fact that I have quite a bit of success with just syringes...people think its an Isolate or something along those lines...the Syringes are kinda old (over 6 months) and they seem to take a while longer to colonize the wbs in jars...now what if in the syringes due to their age, the weaker spores died and the stronger higher producing ones remained? Maybe this could be the cause of my success plus all the countless hours of reading done on this hobby...just curious if anyone has any thoughts on if this may be why??? if so maybe we should age the syringes?? maybe not....

TX woarks just like that multi spore. I cannot explain whay, but isolates are damn near same output as a good ultrasonicated multispore.

Doesn't look like you could fit any more in those pans. Truly a beautiful sight. Thanks for all the info.

Today is a sad day the 33 gallon sterlite casing I had done flush very very nice first flush netted a lil over 7oz dry....I dunked it with bleach and cold water threw it outside covered where it was a little under 30 degrees f. But im sad to regret that even though the whole casing layer colonized very nice and very fast again I saw that little green muther of all satanistic POS!!!! he was hangin around in my casing so I had to kill and bury it all...so I will say a prayer for my little fella who fell in the line of duty...amen
