maz casing

Ok, I give myself a B- in PE cause this casing could have used a spotter. Still its proly the best pinset I've had yet on a casing. I doubt they will give nice prints like RR's pe6 strain and that's a bummer, but we'll see.

I'm too sure either, but that's what it said on the culture someone gave me.

After looking at em more, and showing my friend, he agrees that he must have got em mixed up, will try again soon. I think they are maz.

I just wanted to share with you some pics from the maz flush.

I ended up with enough to do my own extraction - over 1 oz dry!
second flush is drying now. awesome from multispore, I think.

second flush was mixed with others in drying process, but I'd guess it was a 1/4 dry maybe more. I got a lot of prints off these. I wouldn't mind donating some, I took care when making the prints but I don't really trust myself on the sterile printing thing yet. I have only used one print that I made and so I have yet to prove to myself that I am good at it. I have fucked shit up before in the sterility dept I believe. The jar I noc'd up with my pan print does however seem to be colonizing, so maybe I am doing it right. It just seems like it would be harder to make a sterile print than it actually is to me, I think.

I was just now reading a tek for printing, and it says wipe down al foil w/ alc, don't touch caps with bare hands. I must say that I did not use alc to wipe down the foil and although I used a thumbtack to pick the caps up after the spores drop I used bare hands when I twisted them off of the stems being careful to keep the gills facing down and to not touch them. Does that seem like enough precaution? I put a bunch on one piece of foil an inch or so apart and kept it covered with a tray as I went along. I then let em dry after removing the caps, after a day or so I folded up the foil lightly and stuck the whole thing in another foil envelope. I still haven't went back to cut each print out for separate packaging.
