Hillbillies Using Waylits Pan Cyan Tek

PP5 containers with cow shit, cold pasteurized mixed 50/50 with regular BRF and Verm mix. Cased with Worm castings, peat moss, vermiculite and hydrated lime.

The middle tub was removed because it was contaminated

I didn't get a lot but these are HUGE!!! I was expecting more but I'm not quite sure why more didn't grow. I'm hoping to get a couple prints but it doesn't even look like they have dropped any spores yet. I've got two more tubs like this, one that I just cased, another incubating. Plus a tub of treasure coast incubating. I'm also curious what would happen if I took the big cake out and flipped it, grew it PF style. Probably gonna try one like that soon too.

The sub/casing may have been too moist in the middle. That's often the reason for fruits along the edges. Good job tho.

wow those are bigguns

hillbilly is my favorite cubie strain

they can get really big
plus i have seen them fruit at colder temps

Thanks Hillbilly! I used one of your refill kits for this project. Hillbillies Refill kits are the bomb yo!!

I might get a chance to clone that guy. That is an excellent idea. It would be my first clone. They are bursting but if I can let them chill till tomorrow I'll be able to do it then. I don't even have a dryer big enough for these guys I'll have to make a new one, ha ha!!

If you're going to clone I'd try and get some tissue from lower down on the stem. Looks to be a fair amount of vert. higher up toward the caps. Don't clone anything bubbly.

Not too low tho
too low and you'll have a higher risk of
contam. Maybe use some H2O2 with the clone, a dip
or something.
