Anyone have a surplus of Papaver Somniferum seeds?

If so, newbie here looking to start my first grow and any help will be highly appreciated. I looked in wallfart and all they had were orientals and calis.

Someone set me straight if this is BS, but I've heard that the poppy seeds you buy in the store (for cooking etc.) are papaver somniferum. Might be worth tossing some into the dirt to see what happens.

some are, true, but not very viable-
poppy seeds do not age well,
fresher = better for germination

I got quite a few junior jumbos from some very nice arrangements I made recently. I'd be willing to trade for some cubensis spore syringes.

People should give this stuff away with as much seed that is produced by the pods. Poppy grows like weeds and once they are set it's almost impossible to get rid of them because they set so much seed.
