miracle blue oysters fruit in tomatoes.....

the second week of may I visited a bit with crazy1 and we went morel hunting. he me gave a couple spent blue oyster strawblocks to try dunking and fruiting again. That experiment was a failure, they never refruited....then the blocks hung out a bit on the basement steps for a week or so....then spent 5 days outside with no water at 90f. i split them in half...literally sat them in front of the sprinkler while it was watering the garden to rehydrate (I ALMOST took pictures to post here as a joke...Greys Garden Hose Tek). i then casually tossed them into the straw mulch around my tomatoes.
heres what i saw 48 hours after they sat in front of the sprinkler.

lol..its a combination of the massive FAE/ light and the watering that did the trick... over here we actually hose our substrate bags each day to simulate rain..
