Took some pictures of my petri culture of spores. They are AMZ on MEA.

I want to move a sample to another dish. There are 2 spots of contamination on the plate. It's been in the fridge undisturbed since before break.
Here's my question. The mycellium isn't very rizomorphic. It's more of a cottony growth that sticks up from the agar. Would I be able drop a drop of peroxide ontot he dish and take a sample from the drop to transfer to another plate?

just use an exacto knife or something similar to take a sample from the edge opposite the contam..
you might wanna do some peroxide agar for the next transfer so that none of those contam spores germinate on the next set..
i'd let that grow out and transfer one more time to make sure it's clean.. then you should be good to go

Yeah, no need to drip h202 on the piece to be transferred.

You may have to transfer more than once.
