    What are these contams?

I started a bunch of PF jars a month or so ago, almost all of which got contaminated with what seemed like just about everything there is. There was green stuff, black stuff, and some had this bright orange stuff that I think is bacteria. Anyway, only a few jars looked healthy so I left them in a box to see how they'd do, even though I aborted the crop. I checked them recently, and many of them had begun fruit invitro. Some of them even have a lot of pins and large mushrooms inside the jar. However, several of the jars also have areas with faint pink spots that I seems like some kind of contamination. However, it doesn't seem to have stopped the growth. My questions are what is this stuff and are the mushies safe to eat if they are growing with this stuff anyway?
One jar (last two pics below) seem to be contaminated with something else, which seems to have affected the mushrooms on that side of the jar.
Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

i took forever to open them pic since they were so huge. from what i'm hearing and seeing you may have lipstick molds however its very strange looking, if the pink in that jar begins to turn orange then you have lipstick mold,

the black in the last 2 pic looks like aborts and your brown could be from rust. check your lid and see if there any indication of such.

You difinitely have a contamination. I agree with siam that it is probably lipstick mold. I hope you did not open that in your grow area because as troutlips reports if it spreads spores in your house it is a booger to get rid of.

If I were you I'd chunk it and start fresh.

Is it safe to eat? [merged]

Some of my FOAF PF jars appear to be contaminated with what he's been told may be "lipstick mold". Pics of them from a few weeks ago are posted above (but the images are REALLY big)
I posted a smaller picture so it is easier to see the contam.
There are still mushrooms growing on these cakes invitro. His question is:
Are the mushrooms that grow on a cake that has this contam safe to eat? Does anyone know?

    Any help would be great.

My rule with contam'd substrates is , if the shrooms look and smell normal then they can be used for making tea by simmering 25 mins....Can't recommend eating raw...many contaminants are not really toxic like trich and verticillium, peeps may be alergic to various molds...some pink molds are toxic so use some caution..
