    Substrate ..
    I grow all my shrooms on sterilized grain (mostly popcorn, mixed with rye and oat berries) with some perlite. I always add some calcium carbonate or gypsum to each jar and some additional to the casing - my favourite one is coconut coir.
    I would like to try bulk substrates too - but first I gotta figure out how to pasteurize the elaphant dung I got from the Sofia Zoo. Maybe I'll try with a straw/worm poo mix at first.
