![]() | Pan Cambo and LgFlCy (Pics) Just a few pics of some pans for your viewing pleasure. These were each a half pint of colonized rye, spawned to and cased with Bison poo and verm.50/50 The casings were 100 % colonized within three days and fruiting was initiated. Three days later pins formed and they began to produce nicely. The two with the best pinset are cambos, the Lgflcy , ehhh well not so good. Not complaining though! This is the first success with the Fl's. enjoy, foster |

![]() | what is lgflcy? i like the fl's. I assume they are florida cyans? i used to see them all the time in the cow pastures. i picked some but alot of times they wouldn't stain blue so I wouldnt' eat them. however, one time I saw a few that stained blue, so I ate them and tripped by nutsack off. i wondered if the ones that didn't stain blue were real or if they were look alikes. do they stain blue? they look nice. enjoy tripping on them

![]() | Thanks Elf! I believe it is Large Florida Cyan Joey. I dont know yet if they stain blue or not. The cambos stain a very dark blue/almost black. The total for the two containers of cambo was 33.8 wet. Contams are the biggest problem. Only gettin one flush in before the nasties set in. Seems like they really like the fae. But i did have to rehydrate the casing on the fl's due to overheating and evaporation. Btw the fl myc was very powdery lookin in the jar.(see http://forums.mycotopia.net/showthread.php?t=21539 (Pan Cyan Mycelium. The wierdness of it all!) ) It seemed to recover a bit once spawned. |

| Great work, Foster. They look awesome. What did you case them with? I have a pan cyan viet spawned to hpoo that I just put in the fc. I've had better luck with cubs on poo without a casing layer as opposed to with one. I chose not to put one on my pans. Should I have? |

First the rancher and his hands had a good laugh, while I ran around the pasture trying not to get smashed. Then of course after my 5 gallon buckets are full, I've fallen a half dozen times, covered in mud and poo, the rancher laughs and says " Hell.., just pull your truck around the back of the barn, I'll load ya up with the front loader bucket" lol Been real lucky, having received horse, buffalo, and worm poo by the truckload for free. Ahh, I love country livin. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | cool! when i worked with em they weren't ever that light being the cambodginiensis. more of an orange dark blue color. in fact, the caps were so dark they were like blue black without being touched. you are a lucky man if those are true cambodginiensis. and can't wait to see more of your pictures.
