To make Vinz happy

He had given me some of his very nice looking KSSS prints a while ago. And just now i have gotten around to using them. Whiped up some rye jars and then cased them with poo/straw/compost mix then topped with coir. The casings are still in there incubator home now. I will start posting pics As soon as they come out. HOpefully nice and white with none of that green garbally gook.

So im working with two different sized casings this time Small and large. the small ones i spawned one quart of rye grain spawn and the large ones got two quarts. Spawn was mixed with sterilized horse poo/straw/compost/and verm then topped with coir.
I believe im going to case them with 50/50 peatmoss and verm, seeing as how i have a shit load laying around that i never used. All these trays have been in darkness incubation for about a week. The small oens are just about to come out and the larger ones will need a few more days.

I was temped to not case any of them this time and see how they came out, but i supose since i have the ingredients laying around i will just do it anyways.

Im stoked on thist one i cant wait to eat some of these i hear the potency is AMAZING@@@@!!!!@@

i have been having some massive contam problems. not sure exactly why. i started otu with 4 casings and only one has made it. : / . well im glad at least one did, and its starting to pin great. pics should be up by the end of the weekend.

the best part of it all in my mind. these KSS grew super dense together. I was expecting them to be more squat and fat to, but to my surprise they grew only moderately fat and quite tall!! cloned some of the bigger and thicker ones to LC. hopefully they will make me happy in months to come

update: the first flush off that one casing gave me about 1.5 ounces dry. not a bad yeild at all.

after being harvested the cake/casing was cold bleach water shocked/dunked for 12 hours. then a layer of sterilized wet verm was added to the bottom of the tray. the cake was layed ontop of it then a nother layer of verm added to the top. so it was more or less DEC.

some kool things i've noticed about this strain;
- no aborts. i havent spoted any yet. any fruits that were small were not aborts
- pins non stop! after i picked the 1st flush and before it got dunked( a two day period) it was already pushing up new pins.
- very meaty fruits.!!!

so the 2nd flush is almost done and ready to be harvested in the next day or two. this 2nd flush is a very big bit bigger than the first as far as fruit size goes. although less of them, but that is normal with most strains, and i didnt expect anything different than the norm.

Ohhh Ohhh and the potency is amazing. i ate 1.5 grams dry of the smallest fruits. i fiigured at the least i would get high for a few hours. w0w was i surprised when after 2 or 3 hours of being really really high i started to trip !!! i'd say i was feeling its effects for around 6 hours. not bad atall if you ask me..

so more fun again. harvested this morning. got some real monsters this 2nd time around, and all the fruits were bigger , thicker,
real monsters

once again i cleaned up the casings, removed most of the old verm and set in the fridge in water, to do a cold dunk.

i really wanted to clone the biggun to cardboard, but i've been having to many obligations recently and ran out of time to prep for a clone. so i just made some prints with the mid sized caps

ok so just a fun update. i just harvested the 3rd flush today. the fruits are getting taller and taller. unlike the 1st and 2nd flushes where they were more squat these ones from the 3rd are tall. there are also a few aborts, which is something i havent seen on them yet. i had a ton of pics to post up but my camera's card is being gay so i cant post them.

its in the fridge getting dunked rite now. hopefully a 4th flush will be up will be up by next week
