I will not add new chips...I just mix every up.
It will damage the mycelium, but it will recover.

Leave your patch alone till Spring.
Then you can always extract some healthy Myc. and make another patch . (like I did with the patch in this tread.)

When did you make your patch..,this year ?

It's a good change you will get a couple of shrooms next year...
But I doubt you will see any..,with such a low quantity of woodchips and a thick casing layer.

Spaсe, can I use liquid from soaked chips (Tilia tree) for LQ of woodlovers?
I think add 2 teaspoon of honey per liter of soak liquid, sterilized it 1 hour. When is necessary add gentomicin (or levomicetin as antibiotic)? Before or after sterilization (with LC from spore syringle)?

LC in sporesyringle I got from healthy azure myc.
Small woodchip (fully collonised of myc) carefully grinded in 3-5mm "wastes" by scalpel and pincers. 3 of these "wastes" drop in bottle with 3% hydrogen peroxide no more then 1-2 minute. Peroxide buy in drugstore. Then "wastes" move to 20ml syringle, add 5ml frappe boiled water. I hurried, therefore temperature of water is near 36.6 C, warmer then my hand. Surprised when after 3-4 days see small clouds around "wastes". The liquid in sp.syringle became with a yellow tint.
It is the same way I do Subaerginosa LQ in sp.syringle by using 2x2mm small pieces of sporeprint. Without used peroxide ))). Seen clouds after few days. In january`09 I inoculated sterilized grain by this syringle. Worked, bacterial contamination not found (maybe small amount of grains).

Yes you can also use liquid culture...
But I have no experience with gentamicin or anything like that.
I never pasteurize or sterilize my outdoor projects.
