Oaxaca, KSSS, Pan Cambo - WBS

Just did 12 WBS jars on thursday/friday, knocked everything up friday morning and afternoon

4 Jars were knocked up with Oaxaca LC from December
4 Jars were knocked up with Pan cyan (cambo) Multispore (from floppypeter

)
4 Jars were knocked up with KSSS multispore (from kocos

)

I followed lazlo's grain tek minus the hydrated lime (forgot to bring it with me)

This is day 2 after knocking up

No growth as of yet, but they were just done 4 days ago.

I was expecting faster growth from the oaxaca since it was LC but the lc may have gone bad.

I followed the tek word for word minus the lime, though so I see no reason it shouldnt work.

A few of the seeds in 1 jar have sprouted for some reason, even after 105 minutes at 15psi

that WBS looks proper... nice job there!... Try getting those jars to 82-85 Deg. I bet you see some monstrous growth

Usually contams rear their ugly little heads quicker than myc will grow.

Of course, but I have a feeling the infection is bacterial, which ime doesnt show many visual signs unless its wetspot. I'm going to give everything its fair share of time to germinate, after 3 weeks if no colonization i'll check for unseen contams

P.S. thanks for the replies its nice to know the jars look the way they should and what not, its been a couple years since I've grown anything

I've still got a ffew prints of the oaxaca left

Update:
2 out of 4 Oaxaca jars have tiny spots of growth, I rolled the grain around a little bit but not hard.

4 out of 4 KSSS jars have spots of growth, I also rolled the grain around a little in these.

0 out of 4 Pan cambo jars showing growth as of yet, but I have faith they will germinate

If not I will be starting an LC soon.

Why are you already rolling em around? Be careful and let the mycel take hold and get a strong start. Once the jar is 40percent or so(60 is better imho) then give em a shake. Just a suggestion. Im glad you got some growth going on

sorry for the lack of updates! im sick as fuckk... i'll try to get some pics today

Seems all but 1 of the pan cambo contaminated, which is ok, i've still got antoher syringe to work with

1 of the remaining oaxaca seems to have contaminated..

All the contams are a dark grey variety.. I'll get a pic of that when I update the rest

alright got a few pics

As I said I lost 3/4 of the pan cambo jars, but the one I've got left is a day or three from being 100%

Still have 4/4 of the KSSS, 2 are farther ahead than the others

Still have 2/4 of the Oaxaca, and they are at about 70-80%
