| Last Trip These pics were taken at a friends farm. I used a Canon S5 IS. This camera has great macro capabilities and a 12X zoom. Im very surprised. I wonder if anyone knows what kind of mushrooms is that? It looks like a coprinus family, but i wouldnt know. I pulled one out and it grew from the clay under the soil. Hope u like the pics. |

| Always nice to go through this thread and enjoy the photos! Nice shots! The Luna Moth is beautiful. She (I think its a female from her "eyes" on her wings) was pretty high up on a barn door and I didn't have anything to stand on to get a better shot. Absolutely one of the most beautiful moth's on Earth imho. ![]() ![]() This was a tiny tiny mushroom found growing on a quarter piece of a hickory nut husk. Actually I found two of them on two different hickory nut husks. ![]() ![]() ~~~ note: these photo's were only resized for uploading here, no other editing done. I should learn to edit them though, they'd be much better most likely. ~~~

| Kyle, thanks so much for sharing those. I had the opportunity do a first-time trip to Juneau a while back and fell in love with the Mendenhall glacier. I swear, from the plane it looked like I was viewing a frozen waterfall...I didn't realize what I was looking at until we landed and I asked someone what I saw. Awesome... Please more pics if you have 'em...BTW, any aurora pics? Peace

| Cool frogs 2guys, they pets, or did they just show up one day? I hate bugs, but as far as bugs go, I guess these are kinda cool.
